  1. I know this was not a provided option, but. . . both? Not necessarily in this order, but: Draft a QB. Draft an OG. Draft a DT. Repeat. It would be cool if we had a top-end QB and controlled the line of scrimmage.
  2. McCown is available, and I have been considering picking him up (unfortunately after 3 moves my league charges $3 per move). I do like his KC match-up. Does it change anything that I have Marvin Jones and DJax? Could get those double-whammy points from Stafford or Winston if they throw either a TD...
  3. Fantasy: Winston returning from injury or Stafford against Ravens D. . . what say you?
  4. When I think Rex Ryan... I think credibility.
  5. Anyone else think the all-red and/or all-blue uniforms would look even better (personally a big fan of both sets) with the red 90s helmet?
  6. They should just win then.
  7. They can deny it 'til the cows come home, but I think the Drought Monkey places a huge psychological disadvantage on the team, one that could very well prevent them from being a legitimate contender. Length always matters.
  8. At least that gets the Drought Monkey off their back.
  9. Should see if Kevin Kolb can recommend any suitable floor mats.
  10. I see them keeping McCoy for one more year, but relegating him to a HB1B role. We'll pick up a bell-cow-type back for the HB1A role. We have our Kamara type, but just need the Ingram type, just with the ages flipped.
  11. Run the read option with Taylor. Use McCoy and Cadet early and often in the run and pass game. Take deep shots to Thompson early and regularly. Go for every 4th down within reason. Sell out and send 6 at Brady to hit him on the first drive; give up yards to rattle him. Then, rush 4 on most downs, but blitz with 5 by sending a DB occasionally from the blind side. Double Gronk, probably involving Milano. Like last week, show them defensive looks we have yet to use this year. Fake a punt. Pull something crazy out for a kick or punt return.
  12. If Tate had lost his fumble yesterday, then this thread would have more credibility. But he didn't, and it doesn't.
  13. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000882529/article/dallas-cowboys-waive-veteran-rb-darren-mcfadden Would be a nice add to McCoy and Cadet. Thoughts?
  14. More like a folding table to hide under during a hurricane than a silver lining on a dark cloud, but yeah, I like it.
  15. How about a read-option?
  16. I hope we see more Cadet. Why is it that pretty much every other team has 2-3 viable HBs? The line has been horrible, I agree. Juan Castillo is to our OL as Rex Ryan (and Sean McDermott? ugh...) is to our defense. Why change the scheme of the OL that boasted last year's top rushing attack? "Defend out dirt" . . . psh . . . how about a sign up at OBD that says "If it ain't broke..."
  17. I place more blame on how the staff has tried to use Tolbert, than I do on Tolbert. He has been relatively effective between the tackles. He is an above average downhill HB. Why Dennison keeps throwing him toss plays and screens is beyond me.
  18. Not sure Taylor's problem has been strip sacks. I like a more aggressive version of the QB who most complain is not aggressive enough. Plus, that's like someone saying "so-and-so HB or WR looked like he was playing more aggressive last week" and getting a response "yeah, but he fumbled."
  19. Anyone else think that Taylor seemed to have a little fire lit underneath him when he came in to replace Peterman? Felt like I saw some extra zip on a couple throws.
  20. I know what I'm thankful for this year.
  21. That is good news. It only takes one. Right now, I think Dawkins is our most consistent OL if considering availability and ability. Leggo my Eggos.
  22. I subscribe to BPA, but will find it tough not to be pissed if there are no OL taken with one of those top 5 picks in April.
  23. Our football czar's name is Sean McDermott.
  24. Right? The fact that it came as our rookie QB, making his debut, completed a nice play action strike up the gut for, what, 15 yards down the middle, only to have the new WR1 he displays a rapport with immediately go down, probably for the rest of the season... does it get more Billsy than that?
