Not that I think McDermott will receive it this way, but if I were the coach, then I see this ruling as incentive to BountyGate all over again. Pull a guy up from the PS, tell him to take out Brady's knees however long after the play, and suffer the (no way it would only be) one game suspension. Open the AFC East right up for a minuscule price. I think we could trudge along without Cap Capi for a game. Edit: ^ Yeah, that!

This is just one example, but I bet the Redskins fanbase is happy they drafted Cousins after RG3. I personally see no problem with hedging our bets with the most important position.

Regardless of whether we have to trade up for a QB, how do people feel about taking 2 QBs in this draft?

Height is not a complete disqualification. See, inter alia, R. Wilson, D. Brees, A. Rodgers, A. Dalton; https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2015/11/18/nfl-quarterbacks-does-height-matter/76023390/ Look around the league. Asshats are seemingly welcome. My next move after giving up whatever to get whichever QB is deemed the best is to invest heavily in the OL.

Travaris Cadet in concussion protocol

Agreed. Need that bell-cow workhorse type. I've made this comparison before: we need to go get the Ingram to our Kamara (McCoy). -
Agreed that we likely need to bite the bullet need to move up. But I could see it being for Mayfield. Only thing going against the kid is his height, IMO.
-
Don't care which one it is - if there is a QB who OBD feels is a franchise guy, then you give up as much as needed to get him.

"As soon as you let go of my hand, I'm going to get back to what is important... clapping."

OK, let me clarify. I think it's assault, but I do not think anyone who has any power to do anything is going to argue it's assault. Edit: There's also a slippery slope here. How long after the hit until it becomes assault? 1 second? 2 seconds? I wish it weren't the case, but it being on a football field unfortunately makes a practical difference.

Mcdermott is a spineless coach
JohnBonhamRocks replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
(1) Okay, he brought it up. Did he show emotion? At any point? Nope. McDermott not showing any emotion and Brown and Pitts standing there after White got 265 pounds to the back of his neck shows this team is no "family". (2) Thank you. I didn't think so, but wasn't sure. Bad challenge then. -
I'll be disappointed if I don't see a response from the Bills players on the field on 12/24. “This is a close family, it really is,” McCoy stated. “And some guys that I might have known for a year or two years, or I might have known them for two weeks or two months, we kind of have that bond. I don’t want to let the guy next to me down.” Yeah? Well, show me.

Posted this in another thread, but needs to be here too: “This is a close family, it really is,” McCoy stated. “And some guys that I might have known for a year or two years, or I might have known them for two weeks or two months, we kind of have that bond. I don’t want to let the guy next to me down.” (http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/10/31/lesean-mccoy-sean-mcdermott-bills-family/) Seeing as they did nothing to fight for their family on the field today after that cheap shot, they better do something on 12/24. -
Brown and Pitts should be ashamed. “This is a close family, it really is,” McCoy stated. “And some guys that I might have known for a year or two years, or I might have known them for two weeks or two months, we kind of have that bond. I don’t want to let the guy next to me down.” (http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/10/31/lesean-mccoy-sean-mcdermott-bills-family/)

I think there is an in-between. He could have showed more emotion without being immature. I think what fans are taking issue with, myself included, is that he didn't seem pissed or fired up. -

(1) Why are people all over the OP here? I'm upset McDermott didn't show more emotion about what happened. He should have been visibly pissed at the refs when it happened, at Belichick during the post-game handshake, and when asked about it during his post-game press conference. Same with the players - no one did anything. It's weak. Not how a family is supposed to support one another. (2) Is intentional grounding review-able in that situation where Brady threw it while going down? I sincerely do not know. Clearly had no chance of getting a sack call there because no Bill had touched him. -

What a douche-canoe. This goes against my usual views, but I will not be upset at all if a player targets his knee next game. I'm not saying McDermott has to promote doing it, but I'm saying if this team is really as tight-knit of a family as they have been described to be, then yes, they try to take him out on 12/24. F'n Scumbag. -
I'll bet he selects stellar side dishes, but cannot evaluate a main course to save his life.
