  1. I'd be on board. One possibly missing piece to that trade: Cordy Glenn. If healthy, the NYG need a LT, and it would just make sense after Dawkins' play.
  2. At the right price, sure. I just don't think he's going to be near the right price.
  3. Though Foles has never actually played in an Erhardt-Perkins offensive as a pro, the sixth year veteran has thrived in the quick passing game and has the vision needed to make smart decisions. https://section215.com/2018/02/19/philadelphia-eagles-2017-season-grades-offensive-line/
  4. QB: Mayfield (trade up in round 1 - Oklahoma) HB: McCoy WR: Benjamin WR: Kirk (round 2 - Texas A&M) WR: Jones TE: Clay LT: Dawkins (Glenn used in trade up for Mayfield) LG: Incognito C: Groy RG: Corbett (round 4 - Nevada) RT: Hubbard (FA - PIT)
  5. Do you have a link for that? Not disputing, but really interested in those stats.
  6. Definitely sucks and the timing is pretty bad for his draft status. However, given that the time out of 4 months is not all that long, combined with what you said about being very good out of the gate, I don't think it will bump him too far down in the draft.
  7. I think if we want him, then we have to take him no later than #56. I just do not see that talent falling to #96, unless there are more long-term or serious implications to the injury that have not been made public.
  8. Definitely Allen. Just because he is big and has an arm does not mean he can play the position.
  9. Feel bad for the kid, but if it drops him to #53/56, then...
  10. Dawson is an athletic slot corner. Kind of rethinking the Scarbrough pick. Scales is productive, has all the intangibles and qualities OBD seems to covet, but not ideal measurables.
  11. Composite Board - User-Voted - Difficult 21: R1P21 QB LAMAR JACKSON LOUISVILLE 22: R1P22 LB ROQUAN SMITH GEORGIA 53: R2P21 G WILL HERNANDEZ UTEP 56: R2P24 DL TAVEN BRYAN FLORIDA 96: R3P32 DL RASHEEM GREEN USC 121: R4P21 CB DUKE DAWSON FLORIDA 158: R5P21 RB BO SCARBROUGH ALABAMA 166: R5P29 LB TEGRAY SCALES INDIANA
  12. I would add 3-4 year starter to the trait list. I don't know if that is a "trait" per se, but it's what they look for. Also seems to like leadership, ideally having been chosen as a captain. Edit: One guy that comes to mind is Austin Corbett, OL prospect from Nevada. "Corbett was named a team captain as a sophomore in 2015... Considered a team leader and determined worker. Went from walk-on to four-year starter."
  13. Doing what he's doing, but still moving faster than Orlando Brown.
  14. "Waldo drops back to pass, the pocket collapses around him, and -- wait... where did he go? Again?!"
  15. 1. Rosen (although I might like Mayfield even more) 2. Hubbard - OT - PIT 3. Rosen (although I might like Mayfield even more) 4. Jaguars, for similar reasons. 5. Yes, but I'm not saying it's for sure with the Bills.
  16. Have had him as a mid-round pick for us for a while, but may move up like you said. A 4-year starter that McBeane likes and has played C, OG, and OT. Edit: I guess he only played LT and RT, but looks to be a fit at C or OG.
  17. Want: Michel (or Iko Smith) Think: Ivory
  18. I fully expect him to become a Patriot*.
  19. I think this becomes more of a debate if the scenario is that the player is a guaranteed HOFer. In that case, if there was a QB already in place, I would be tempted to say yes. You never know how a late 1st round pick is going to pan out. Sure, one of the two might be a good starter, but a HOFer is a game changer at his position. I'd probably do it for almost any position, especially WR, LT, DT, DE, MLB, and CB, so long as they are a HOFer for insane production.
  20. Mayfield. That short, good-for-nothing ego-maniac is going to have a lot of success as an NFL QB. Edit: Not to mention, he's a rabble-rouser.
  21. Yeah, so apparently practicing yoga spaces your fingers further apart from each other. Could be a key way for QBs to increase hand size leading up to the Combine. Actually, just found this poking around: http://www.theadvocate.com/new_orleans/sports/saints/article_7628f4ee-7b0a-5824-9299-4d2a3b1a31b0.html The secret? Hand yoga. ... “It stretches them and stuff,” Thomas said. “It’s a little secret I do. I know the exercises and then, when I get massages, I get the knuckles massaged out.” The scary part is that Thomas doesn’t think there is a limit to how much he can stretch his hands. He was measured again by ESPN after the combine, and his hands had grown a quarter-inch. ... “They just keep increasing. I do it all the time,” he said. “We’ll see.”
  22. I think he might already be a 2nd round guy. Would not be at all surprised to see Ridley, Sutton, and maybe Kirk go round one, and Brown, with a few others go in round two.
  23. 1. Mayfield 2. Rosen 3. Jackson 4. Darnold 5. Rudolph Honorable mention: Falk
