  1. Wonder if he ever gets canned and ends up here as OC…
  2. Haha I hear you. Nice. Decent. Average at best. Is what I meant. That I agree with. Missing tons of easy plays. My original point, I think, was that anyone claiming they know it is due to Hailee is likely fibbing
  3. Let’s run that play after we give up a TD
  4. Unless you’re implying Hailee is a football, or that Kubiak lives with them, I’m really not following…
  5. A few thoughts: The Josh/Hailee relationship claims are baseless, unsupported, comical. Josh being MVP =|= Josh being infallible. He is missing throws and feeling pressure that is not there. Too many sacks. It is possible to efficiently run the ball, utilize three TEs, AND have a competent NFL WR pass attack. We have the first two. Our WRs are nice but maybe we do need an alpha and everybody can still eat. Brady deserves credit for a good run game, but I’m not seeing much support for the argument that he is an innovative or adaptable play-caller. He does appear to suffer from this lacking WR room, but that’s what happens when everybody eats is your mantra. What made Diggs, Brown, Beasley, and Sanders such good targets for Josh? In my opinion, it’s their general ability to separate whether that be with speed, route savvy, or both. With Palmer unavailable, Moore underutilized, and Coleman used mostly for jump balls… the struggles are unsurprising. Josh can and has had success in 3 WR sets but now that formation instills fear in no one.
  6. Jackson Hawes I think they use a lot of heavy sets to run and use play action
  7. Yeah? Well… everyone knows the ball travels faster through the air versus on the ground, so…
  8. Could be. I feel like that cuts both ways. With a rookie QB they want to surround them with vets who are familiar with the league and can help them transition to the next level of football. Probably each is true to a degree.
  9. If he’s being outplayed by Ayomanor and Pike… then I think maybe no. That coaching staff / offense situation could hold a player back, but I would not bet on it here. My guess is they’d sooner turn to Gabe Davis if all medicals are equal.
  10. I wish half of us were the Browns - the defensive side.
  11. Would not mind a CB at the deadline. Al things equal, I’d almost prefer that move. If you could get Douglas or Cooper, each as he was when we traded for him, then which would you take?
  12. I like Jeudy and Shaheed, and also Olave but his injury history gives me pause.
  13. Each team should be able to run on the other. I think whoever abandons the run game as opposed to building off its success with play action will have the big disadvantage. In other words, don’t get cute. Penix has been only passing short. Do we dare him to beat us with his arm down the field? What happens when a stoppable force meets a movable object? What is this year’s equivalent of a third round pick for Rasul Douglas? Hope Hairston ends up good to go for us this year, but banking on that after Bishop was essentially a redshirt for missing just training camp seems foolish.
