  1. ...half of the brutal tandem of Scott and Dewayne Washington in da Burgh. No way, Jose'.
  2. ...agreed. Should be for the entire postseason as well.
  3. "The Hawk Never Dies"--unless it runs into an Owl hell-bent on injuring someone deliberately under the coach's direct orders. Imho, it's time for John Chaney to be reined in--HARD. A self-imposed one-game suspension in light of his antics in the St. Joe's game doesn't cut it. One of St. Joe's best players is now out for the season because of what happened Tuesday night. It was premedidated and disgusting. Neither Temple nor the A-10 have the brass to suspend Sir Frankenstein for the rest of the season. He'll just sit the next game only--on his terms--and then let bygones be bygones. The thing is, Chaney told the media Monday what he was going to do (put in a "goon" to "send a message" about supposed SJU illegal screens). And yet neither the school nor the conference did anything about it. Just stuck their heads in the sand. Inexcusable. A fine example of sportsmanship and fair play--NOT! http://www.philly.com/mld/philly/news/10987662.htm
  4. ...what does that tell you about the "great" Drew Henson? Drew times 2. Could be a murky equation in Big D.
  5. The Amerks...best team in hockey right now.
  6. ...and no Mike Pucillo. Thank God.
  7. ..."Old Farts Society", founded by Jerry Jones.
  8. Hi Gina...things fine here in south-central Patucky. Looking forward to a new era of Bills football with a different QB under center. The former QB wasn't known as BDDB (Brain-Dead Drew Bledsoe) for nothing.
  9. Absolutely. Any more questions?
  10. ...was down in Charlotte for a hoop tourney two years ago. Nice city, but badly in need of light rail/major mass transit upgrade. The traffic on the main interstates was horrendous.
  11. I'd be thrilled for Jim Boeheim if he gets the nod. But Jim Calhoun at UConn is also deserving.
  12. ...UB's in good shape for the NIT. They'd have to win the automatic bid (win the MAC tourney) to go the Big Dance.
  13. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk! Ohhhhhh, a wise guy, eh?
  14. Mungro over Buckhalter? Absolutely. Forget Buckhalter. He's had two injury strikes in Philly. He gets a third and he'll be out of the league, let along Philly.
  15. ...were there any #11 statues left in the pro shop or the parking lot?
  16. ...Prioleau, perhaps? Although I'd love to see that bum Lindell get the ultimate boot.
  17. ...I'd rather Losman be the "1st J.P." than the "next so-and-so."
  18. ...I hope he pulls through and makes a full recovery. Tedy Bruschi is the one Patsie I respect. He's a warrior. Plays hard and clean.
  19. ...they've had some high-scoring barnburners in recent years. Add one more tonight.
  20. http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/F/FBN...EMPLATE=DEFAULT
  21. ...there are folks in the WHL who would take issue with that. The Calder Cup is, in its own right, a prestigious hockey prize. Let Lord Stanley's mug gather dust for a year.
  22. ...and when you get quakes, you get them big. The '64 quake that leveled Anchorage is one of the all-timers.
  23. "offensively, it wasn't just DB, it was everybody.." I hope he's not including WM with this broad brush.
  24. "NO GOAL" -- by anyone involved in this fiasco.
  25. ...a class act. But his time is up, 23-25 in three seasons and no playoffs is all the more reason to make the move now to release Bledsoe. Wish him well, and turn the page.
