  1. C'mon Trot, how 'bout another Salami? Bags juiced in the 4th for the Bosox.
  2. You got it. The Sox are like Our Heroes (the Bills)...no lead is EVER safe!
  3. ...any more BP pitchers left, Joe? Vasquez gets the hook.
  4. JOHN-NY DA-MON (clap-clap-clapclapclap)! JOHN-NY DA-MON (clap-clap-clapclapclap)! Upper Decker in the Ol' Big Ballpark. 8 to 1 Sox! I like my RIBBIES at DAMON'S! A SIX-PACK FOR THE GRUNGE KING!
  5. .....WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOO-HOO-HOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! A Johnny Damon SALAMI Here! Get your Johnny Damon SALAMI HERE! 6-0 Sox! YEAH BEBBE! Brownout in the Bronx? No, BROWN AND OUT!
  6. Joe's not screwing around tonight. He's got Vasquez throwing up in the bullpen (a la Folkers).
  7. 2-0 Sox after 1. Yanks down in order in the 1st.
  8. Jeter made a nice relay on the Damon nailout. But he's got to get his bat working and get on base.
  9. BF, heckuva win by the Cards to send the NLCS to the full 7. Edmonds gets a pitch in his wheelhouse and...see ya tomorrow. Clemens vs. Suppan. Two Game 7s for the pennants. The way it should be.
  10. YEAH BEBBE! Ortiz 2-Run JACK in the 1st after Damon was nailed at the plate on a Matsui-Jeter-Posada relay. 2-0 Sox!
  11. GO SOX! But good luck Yanks as well. Let's have a classic finale to a historic ALCS.
  12. ...ballgame. 6-4 Cardinals on an Edmonds 2-run dinger in the 12th. 3-3. Game 7 Thursday. The way it should be, just like tonight's ALCS decider.
  13. 4-2 Cards. They've chased Munro. Pujols 2-2 with a 2-run dinger & double. He's a money player.
  14. I disagree re: the Curse. It goes on regardless of the outcome tonight. Only if the Sox go on to win the World Series will the Curse be broken.
  15. Yepper. B game. It's a back-seater to the ALCS. The NLCS becomes front-and-center tomorrow if there's a Game 7 in St. Louis.
  16. ...regardless of the outcome, tonight's Game 7 at the Big Ballpark is historic. The "B" game from St. Louis starts at 4. The "A" game from New York starts at 8. From 0-3 down to win a playoff series? Only been done twice and both times in 'ockey--'42 Leafs (vs. Dead Things) and '75 Isles (vs. Penguinis). Never been done in the NBA, never been done in MLB, but the Sox have an incredible opportunity tonight in the latter. Playoff drama at its best tonight in the Bronx. EVERY PITCH COUNTS!
  17. HIS-TOW-REE! First 0-3 to 3-all in MLB history. Can the Sox come all the way back and finally--FINALLY--beat the Yanks when it matters most? Game 7--Yanks/Sox one more time with the pennant on the line. Doesn't get much better than this, folks.
  18. BF, in all seriousness, what's happened to those Redbird bats? One hit last night? I know they had a similar meltdown against Lima in the Dodger series but they can't afford any more lumber slumber.
  19. The 'Ville? I work at the 'Ville! Deep in the heart of south-central Pennsyltucky! The game Sunday should be a good one if, from the Bills perspective, the OLs can keep Ray Lewis & friends from tearing Bledsoe into a you-know-what. They have to win the TO battle and not make the kind of STUPID PENALTIES and other assorted mental miscues that hurt them dearly the first four games. The Bills offense did a nice job "finishing" Dieami Sunday, but the defense has to start doing it--not sealing the deal cost them the Jax (still smarts) and Dog-Ass Jet games. Too bad for the Ravens if Todd Heap can't go...he's a good TE. Will Boller ever pan out as a decent QB? The jury is out on him. Have a world of respect for RL, Reed and McAllister.
  20. ...hard grounders and low line drives, fellas. Looks like the long ball will be out of play tonight at the Big Ballpark.
  21. ...if ever there was a time to beat Baltimore, this Sunday is it. No JL, no Heaps, a young man's Bledsoe in Boller. This is winnable but the Bills have to play the kind of mistake-free football they showed vs. Dieami and keep Bledsoe in one piece.
  22. The Bills' secondary is better than Pittsburgh's. Huh? With Coy Freakin' Wire back there? You kiddin' me? Get off the crack. If the Steelers have something to play for in the closer, I shudder to think what Big Ben will do to that secondary. Milloy or no Milloy. Vincent or no Vincent.
  23. That's pretty good. I'm holding on one question for BF if his Redbirds lose this series.
  24. That's a very intriguing question. Still better to be up than down I suppose. If the Sox though come all the way back to force a Game 7, hysteria will set in the Big Apple.
