  1. Taron Johnson is an all pro, as is Milano Benford could be one too
  2. he generally has a good feel for big picture trends. he's a casual but w good takes i have no insight into him as a person
  3. I saw that tweet yesterday...I'm not exactly sure what it means tbh but I don't think you need Dov Kleiman to tell you that the Bills defense is the driver of our postseason failures, it's been plain as day for the last 4+years
  4. I think they probably were managing minutes for Jones and Kelce (and may have said as much about midway thru season when everyone was predicting their downfall 😂😂) as far as DTs the top guys are pry much set as you say and yes, Jones is among them but there's this whole next tier of guys like Derrick Brown (injured) and Kenny Clark that are way underrated imo the larger point was when you go up and down our rosters Bills v Chiefs and take everyone's 2024 form into account I don't think you can say one side is clearly superior to the other
  5. I mean he is a beast...he's Chris Jones I'm saying I didn't see him play at an elite level this season and I watched a lot of Chiefs games. And imo the passrush win rate is kind of like Mahomes' success rate in his kinda mid season. Their guys aren't necessarily playing better, the Chiefs are just smarter.
  6. He's an all time great player but he wasn't that good in 2024 and tbh the Chiefs defense wasn't either I didn't understand it tbh
  7. I'm not a big Coleman fan (didn't love the pick either) but I saw very little effort from Brady to integrate his skillset. We had two or three games where Allen would throw him back shoulder passes and that was it. Never understood the plan at wideout outside Shakir. Kincaid needs a better coach than Boras sorry not sorry. Knox never developed when he was supposedly coming into the league super green, Kincaid has gone backwards. He's got talent and tools.
  8. He wasn't elite this year. Neither was Mahomes. And yet, here they are.
  9. Chris Jones had five sacks this year. He had one tackle vs us
  10. Ok. I would massively disagree that Mahomes' running is the big worry. But that isn't what I was talking about wrt the OP To stay on topic, I'd say we looked both small AND slow on defense vs KC and that shouldn't really be possible
  11. Your contention is their stuff was all on tape, nothing new (despite Rousseau's comments)...and yet they still shredded us That doesn't bode well for future encounters
  12. I'd suggest he hasn't been paying close enough attention then We've been transitioning to a ball control offense since they canned Dorsey. I'm assuming next season they lean in even further, accomplish less offensively, and then decide to lean back into a more Allen centric model in 2026
  13. I wasn't commenting on whether it was positive or negative, just that the personnel and resultant schemes are a reflection of the HC
  14. I think OP knows, as we all do, that this roster and staff is built in McDermott's image
  15. Rousseau literally said the Chief did things they had never seen before
  16. again- all credit to them for keeping playoff lamar in a hurricane and bo nix ppg down. that's solid analysis
  17. all this work and i could have spared you the trouble- i'll agree our defense is merely poor in the playoffs when considering 'average relative playoff ppg surrendered vs regular season including games played in a hurricane and against bo nix' now we are in full agreement
  18. you understand allowing 380ypg and 24.8ppg would put you at or near the bottom of NFL defenses, season in season out maybe you don't. either way historically bad playoff defense
  19. is this seriously news to you? this is from last season- adding this seasons performance will cement it further
  20. do i really need to qualify historically bad in the playoffs? should be pretty obvious that's what we've been talking about, yes
