  1. If you look at how many times he was faced w/third and 8+ and still delivered...
  2. This is 100% a ‘letter of the law’ interpretation. You know, the exact opposite way they interpreted the kickoff rule.
  3. Williams had a beast of a season...Chargers go to him in spots over Allen at this point. I doubt they're letting him go but would be a great pickup
  4. Haush would have been lining up a 55 yarder for the walkoff
  5. Yeah no. He disengages with Poyer (you can see his arm let go deliberately) to start moving back towards Edmunds (he turns his head and lines him up) and initiates a textbook illegal blindside block with his shoulder and head.
  6. Hey NFL: for consistency's sake maybe call this one too
  7. This. 100x this. These are blocks that happen ALL THE TIME during NFL games. They're unavoidable. To call Ford's block a 15 yard penalty which basically lost the game for the Bills and then assessing a fine on top is simply the league justifying a horrific, game-altering, officiating blunder, nothing more.
  8. The good: Dawkins' evolution into a legit franchise LT, the kid balled out this year. Tha bad: Harrison Phillips losing a year. Needed to get in synch w/Oliver in hopes they can anchor interior of the line.
  9. I would be fine locking him up long term at this point. He's only 25 and produces like a top10-12ish LT and that's playing by normal NFL rules. Solder completely fell off the map after Giants paid him $$$ to scoop from Patriots and he couldn't hold anymore
  10. He deserves it imo, he had a very solid year
  11. Example A of paying too much attention to one armed Watt
  12. Yep and I’ve been saying exactly this since mid season. He’s a situational 3tech, period.
  13. That’s generous giving Phillips ‘loses his footing’. Similar to the rest of the year, he often loses badly vs double teams.
  14. Caldwell is an example. He spent four seasons as HC in Detroit and went to the playoffs twice, fired after accumulating a 36-28 record which was best of any Lions HC since the 50s. His replacement in Patricia has gone 9-22-1 since.
  15. People love coming in with the ‘privileged wealthy black vs poor white’ as if that doesn’t immediately illustrate the issue at hand.
