  1. I'll make it simple Shanahan coaching this roster w Allen would have a minimum of 1 Super Bowl win McDermott coaching the Niners would be better than 0-5 vs the Chiefs
  2. No I'm saying Shanahan vs McDermotts results and McDermott v Chiefs specifically w Niners roster
  3. How's this for a take- +150 Shanahan does better vs KC w Allen and McDermott also does better w Niners toster
  4. and the bengals
  5. watched this yesterday and now I really kind of hope he doesn't win MVP just to watch these guys continue to fumble their way trying to explain what they see on the field vs these team accomplishments masquerading as qb milestones
  6. this im not a big run the ball guy but we should definitely run the ball this week 20-13 type game
  7. lol why be worried that someone is worried? it's a buffalo bills forum weird energy
  8. It's very easy for me to reconcile the concepts that winning a championship in pro football is one of the most difficult accomplishments in professional sports and that a HC who achieves it cannot logically be considered less than one who hasn't.
  9. there tends to be a strong relationship between TDs and wins go figure
  10. Of course it would. If we win the SB McDermott and co are made men and they get to stay forever Unlike @GunnerBillI believe winning a championship is primarily what defines a coach's career
  11. You're responding to someone who apparently believes a Super Bowl win wouldn't be satisfying to some Bills fans lol, that is quite clearly the wrong side of this
  12. Pedersons tenure w the Eagles was an unqualified success If McDermott ends his in Buffalo w no championships it will be an abject failure Pretending Super Bowls aren't the only meaningful metric for HCs is just cope
  13. Ok McDermott is better than Arians too And Payton And Harbaugh and Tomlin And McCarthy Better than McVay too I guess
  14. No sorry I don't buy that. I don't think it's reasonable to say a HC who hasn't won a SB is better than one who has.
  15. It's kind of a big one lol There are lots of guys who can and have accomplished your first few much less important categories
  16. Not in the slightest
  17. For sure I'm not saying targeting injured players is dirty because that's how the league operates, I'm just saying the way he went about it in this particular situation was
  18. I'm saying he and everyone on the Texans defense knows Lawrence was carrying an injury So imo he saw an opportunity to knock him out of the game and guarantee the win vs Mac Jones And it worked
  19. The assumption that he was out to injure is yours, not mine As for how teams ID opponent's injuries and prep for games I thought that was common knowledge
  20. These are some of the best athletes in the world, the idea that they're just flying out of control out there unable to pull out of a routine sliding QB is the non football take tbh Look we all know what happened...divisional rivals, QB known to be injured coming in, all week in prep the defense knows it/heard about it, and he saw an opportunity to put in a really questionable shot. It was a bad play in context and doesn't need to be defended lol
  21. Dude of course they're the minority because they were idiots about it and got caught That doesn't mean that injured players on the opposing team don't get highlighted in lead up and get tested during games...it's not like 'oh we are going to blow his knee up' but if you're carrying an injury someone is going to go after it and what happens happens I mean you can see it every week in the nfl
  22. Could use context tbh most NFL players don't care if they injure somebody or not. They're trying to win by any means necessary There's a reason guys w injuries get tested in games
