Not mad
Just acknowledging the fact that if your QB isn't perfect the last 2 weeks and you're 0-2 despite 10 TDs and 900+ yards of offense...that's the definition of unsustainable
We need more than just Allen. He can't just will us to a SB
Biggest game of the year ostensibly
And I think there were more drives extended by the kind of 1 of 1 type out of structure plays only Allen makes than usual
That's why you watch that game and say it's all on him. Because it pretty much is
This is a bad take imo
This is exactly the game to say it was all Allen. I don't think any other QB in the league wins this game for us tonight and that's not hyperbole
We had 4AllPros on the defensive side of the ball vs Bengals in the playoffs and 4 vs chiefs in 13seconds game
I mean how much elite talent do you need
Good offenses are hard to stop. That's why we have success in the postseason w Allen
It's also why I want continual investment on offense. Yes even at the expense of the defense. Imo it's near impossible to create a perfectly balanced team for the playoffs and we've already shown our strength to be on offense...make that the focus. Find a way to be average on defense. Most other teams don't have an issue w that
I disagree that the offense is pretty much set
I disagree w the contention that we have 'more weapons than available passes'
And if re signing Shakir is the big off-season move on offense I will be disappointed
I haven't seen anything from Coleman that suggests he doesn't need competition at the 1spot and Cooper may not be here/is old anyway
Kincaid/Knox can definitely be improved upon imo
The only spot I really like is Shakir in the slot tbh
I think the offense has overachieved in terms of ppg which is a credit to them but not something I feel comfortable in testing its sustainability
