  1. If you genuinely don't care about how our WR room stacks up against the rest of the league then why even bother arguing about how productive they're going to be in relation to the rest of the league? You can be happy that we stack up well against your weekend beer league squad but where they relate to the rest of the NFL is the entire point of the discussion.
  2. 😂😂And it does yours? Name me the 22 teams that have worse WRs
  3. It's truly strange considering we just saw how it negatively affected what's universally considered the best offensive QB/HC in the league But it's not going to happen to us somehow
  4. Wrong The Niners had two guys in aiyuk and Kittle in the top 32 and their third was 36th The Titans only had Hopkins
  5. 😂😂😂Says the guy who want to count a bunch of 1yard shovel passes foh
  6. If you have multiple guys in the top 32 it means that ON AVERAGE you will have more productive offensive players going against less talented defensive players For anyone who understands the game it's basically a metric for determining favorable matchups
  7. 32 is an arbitrary boundary but it's meaningful. It relates directly to how teams are able to defend you and conversely how much pressure your offense can put on a defense. If you don't understand this you don't belong in the discussion
  8. it was obvious enough on broadcast but if you need to see it again- here you go your favorite wideout up and quitting on his team
  9. meh that's the same story for every player in the league the vast majority are able to conduct themselves appropriately
  10. Damning w faint praise Pry easy to read into imo
  11. this dovetails very nicely w the 'nfl people know more than everyone else' concept
  12. that's because its a dumb point for the last time- saying the offense hasnt been consistent in the playoffs is like saying one of the sinks on the titanic has a little leak
  13. yup decided to check out the great wall of wrong after visiting wrong kong
  14. the guy seems to think targets just materialize out of nowhere lol like the oc just randomly decides to pick some jag and turn him into one of the most productive wideouts in the league becuz targets
  15. davis is one of the least athletic wideouts ive ever seen coleman being more athletic than him really isn't saying much
  16. this is where we diverge tbh i think there's almost zero reason to assume the pass offense will be improved over years past. i think the room is weaker and the OC is green
  17. i think so and i say that w the caveat that imo if they were to have an outsize showing it would be on the lower end...i mean i think it's more likely that w this group as currently configured they end up 25th than 3rd, say
  18. i would expect them to fall no lower than 15th but no higher than 10th
  19. yes, i believe you are supposed to struggle in the playoffs. the competition is better and the level of play is higher. it's more difficult to be successful if that's so incomprehensible to you so be it as for your theory that the offense is responsible for us not getting to the Super Bowl- i don't have the energy to keep refuting it. if believing that makes you happy go for it. this thread is supposed to be about wideouts anyway
  20. lol please don't feel too sorry for me, im not the one arguing that the offense is responsible for us not getting to the Super Bowl when the defense consistently puts up bottom of the league type performances
  21. i mean we are arguing chicken and egg now basically...the 13second game would have been one in allens pocket and one fewer in mahomes i know you dont believe allen is at mahomes level but i do, so those arguments don't really work for me.
  22. yes we agree on offense, i would obviously take the same approach the difference being i already know he can because he currently is above Mahomes' level in the playoffs😂😂
  23. when the argument that the defense doesnt implode in the playoffs devolves into 'but allen isn't as good as mahomes' it has failed
