  1. I would have voted option1 fwiw Because as I have said repeatedly you are statistically much more likely to lose when you trail in the 4th
  2. That would be great Somehow I don't think I'll be surprised but I'm open to it
  3. Just so we are clear Losing a game where you were ahead in the 4th is statistically unlikely. You are taking the absence of a statistically unlikely event in McDermott's favor Come from behind victories in the 4th quarter are also statistically unlikely. Here you are taking the absence of a statistically unlikely event to Allen's detriment Do you see why you shouldn't try to put these two things in a ratio together
  4. It really doesn't You'd need to compare each to the rest of the league, not to each other What you are trying to do does not math
  5. I know, I'm trying to provide context Teams are EXPECTED to win games where they lead late, it's statistically very likely. I showed you those win% figures So saying we blow fewer leads than we have fourth quarter comebacks...I mean that really isn't saying anything relevant, their relationship doesn't prove anything
  6. Like I said Those two things should not be used in conjunction to reach your conclusion
  7. You have to forgive @FireChans He thinks the ratio of 4th quarter come from behind wins to blown leads is a valid method of comparing a HC to his QB Dubious methodology to say the least But he is getting better
  8. Allen more YPG Allen more TD/game Allen fewer INT/game easy game
  9. No, we already know. That's what's frustrating about this conversation It's fine to be optimistic. It's just flat out wrong to say Brady is as good as Reid or Shanahan or McVay or Johnson
  10. I have to repeat this point because I see it come up a lot- you mentioned the Chiefs, Rams, Niners, and Lions...those are the consensus top 4 offensive coaching staffs in the league. We just do not have that kind of acumen on hand
  11. i bet taron johnson makes this list
  12. i think bills fans are fully capable of understanding that you are far more likely to lose games when you are behind and far more likely to win when you are ahead
  13. you are hardly alone this is the position of most neutral observers
  14. Good for Dawkins He's been a stalwart
  15. Allow me to clarify The list was a ranking of perceived talent and not a projection of passing yards
  16. Again I refer you to the Chiefs with whom we had a lot of common opponents last season They were able to win those games and their offense fared similarly or even worse in many cases.
  17. We need to be able to win when the offense isn't great The Chiefs offense played the jags, Jets and Patriots as poorly as we did and they managed to come away w 3 wins
  18. quick in-thread poll which is less surprising: random bad take generator @Mikey152 fumbling the point or @oldmanfan attempting to cosign
  19. How about if Allen hits Diggs and we bleed the clock like everyone apparently wants to, then proceed to miss the tying FG...like what actually happened😂😂 Arguing for passing up the TD there is just not a thing
