Are we getting a significant amount of presnap penalties on offense? Honestly haven't noticed anything so unusual it cuts both ways w better coaches/players maybe we'd have been KC and the rest of the AFC's roadblock

im equally lost tbh both Coleman and Shavers are almost 10 yards past the line to gain before either of them get their heads around, i mean come on- it's 4th and 2 Shakir on the drag is at least working a reasonable part of the field but again...too slow developing they had a lot of presnap stuff (they moved Johnson from strong to weak, at first wide then Allen brought him back in, plus Shavers jet motion) that looks like they're trying to ID the defensive look but just failed to get Falcons to show anything...and then ran a play that had very little chance of success as drawn up bad bad offense

also @Einsteinyou are correct, zero point zero chance of throwing that shovel pass normally

yeah he's reading playside DE dropping out i'm pretty sure, i don't think he's expecting johnson (who isn't even looking back yet) available yet then goes thru his progression...so for knox i don't know if he has an option to stay home in blitz pickup but i do know he needs to know that he's hot there.

@Low Positive if you watch Allen he is looking playside right at the snap. so he knows the DE dropped out and I think that's why he immediately snaps his head to MoF where Knox is likely to be hot

we may be talking about different plays here the failed 4th down shovel to Johnson the blitz came from Brown's side and he rerouted the LB...both the LB and the DB came and he naturally couldn't get to the DB

it had to be on knox imo it's 4th and 2. your man is blitzing, you're hot...and he just runs into coverage, never settles or even turns his head allen is looking straight at him, probably in disbelief lol

plays smaller than he is unfortunately he got absolutely bullied on one of those third down incompletions

having a guy at QB who scores TDs at a higher rate than anyone in NFL history really helps

herbig is really underrated imo for a not that well known edge guy he is a nuisance and from hawaii

i very much agree 'culture' and 'locker room' and all those feel-good ways of saying we have a nice group of guys who enjoy playing football together does nothing for me. never has if it gets results, great. if it doesn't, do something else. but ffs stop pretending ***** like being a family or growth mindset matter more than trying to win a super bowl
