I truly believe that the best thing for Johnny Football is having James in Cleveland. If Manziel listens James has much about professionalism that he can teach the kid. I'm not putting the guy on a pedestal. The decision and the immediate aftermath were disgraceful (to me) & I railed against him as much as anyone. If that's the worst he ever does he'll be OK.

The NFL has a larger investment in their players. Even though contracts still are not 100% guaranteed like baseball & basketball it is still wise to put the best product on the field that is possible. It also hurts their image. You running with tranny hookers isn't making the news. They can certainly force someone to get help. What they can't force is a player taking it to heart.

Over 50% of those passes were at or behind the LOS. While they'll try those from time to time I doubt he makes a living on those in the NFL. He must evolve and his QB must be able to get him the ball. -
