Growing up in Toronto and was a Leafs, Sabres and a Bills fan. Hated the fins then, hate them even more now. But living in WNY and having endured the Leafs ownership and management, I finally had enough of them. This is a different way of life here for as hockey fan and it's for the better. Well now that Rigas is gonna die. But I still hate the fish. I just am starting to really dislike the Leafs.

First we have a blogger who has talks that are apparently heating up with Buffalo, and now we have an actual Buffalo News reporter Al Wilson playing ILB. I know he seems like a big guy but I don't know if I like him at ILB vs sports reporter.

I did not fing that fight last night all that great. It was great if you like pulling at each others shirts. Belak certainly threw and landed more punches, but he should have. The fight was boring and I laghed at Janssen acting like Barnaby would. There's Janssen waving at the refs to indicate he's not done yet. Meantime he isn't throwing any punches. I think the refs really wanted Belak to lay an a ss whipping on him which is why they let it go on for so long.

Awesome read, thanks for posting it. I knew how life was like in WNY when I moved here from Georgia in 1994. When I got to the Ryder truck rental the guy was blown away and said the reason I got such a cheap rate on the truck was that nobody drives there equipment here. It always just leaves on a one way WNY is a unique and fantastic place to live. Get over it to the people who cant understand why.

I will be at the game in Toronto Saturday night and I figure if the Sabres beat them here as they usually do, on Friday night, the Sabres can administer a dagger through the heart to them and finish any playoff hopes the Leafs have on Saturday. I will be in sec 103 row 10 behind the net that the Sabres I think shoot at twice. Anything particular nicety you would like me to tell the guy on my left? On my right will be the future Mrs. beerme1 hopefully wearing a Sabres jersey. I wont say anything bad to her unless it's a loss which I don't expect and better not happen for what these ticks cost. I agree with you. This is a 3 year contrract when it comes down to it. In 2010 when they ask WM to renegotiate he will say no and be cut. If he makes it till then.
