  1. Aren't you contradicting yourself in this post? We did address the qb situation by grafting EJ didn't we?
  2. To each their own. I'm more concerned if he has a hot wife!
  3. So you give him credit for nothing? I believe that's kind of MORONIC especially after people here have pointed out the good that he did. Some people also seem to forget just how empty our cupboards were. I loved the CJ pick and my friends hated it. I said we need a dynamic game changer and he could be it. They would say we have Fred. I love Fred but he isn't that and is arguably on the downside already. The rb, a wr, and a qb added to what we have and maybe we have something going. Look at where we are. Thanks Buddy
  4. Ha! This reminds me of a quote from the recently fired GM from the Toronto Maple Leafs Brian Burke who said "sometimes you set the table and someone else gets to eat at it" Classic! And you're quote saying Nix will be viewed as the man who set the table is well, perfect Good line. Thanks
  5. i heard someone say the other day it reminded him of Chan leaving saying he will always root for the Bills. I appreciate the fact that even though he knew the writing was on the wall, he still helped the rookie in camp. Thank you Rian.
  6. This is funny to me because I believe back at the draft some poster (poser) kept insisting that arm strength was overrated playing here. That is to say a guy like Fitz could survive here. Wait. Maybe it was Fitzfanboy saying that Or it was some guy arguing the wind wasn't really a big deal here. And then I saw someone pointed out that even Brady didn't throw when facing the tunnel for two quarters. Hmph, I guess the guy is ultimately right then. You don.t need a strong arm to win here!!!!
  7. I don't agree with you. While I value his contribution to the team, he is not Troy Polamalu. And just because his agent may say he is doesn't mean he is. If he reports in week 10 we do not start this process all over again. No way. At least not being played out like this again whereby he gets tagged and we actually repeat this scenario. Trade his rights before tagging him if that's what it takes. This agent is what he is and I wouldn't look to deal with him again after yet another ordeal. I will agree with you that Byrd outperformed his contract but that doesn't mean that he should become the highest paid player at his position or god help us the highest paid defensive player in the league. If the situation plays out as you describe and we cant trade him? I'm walking away and moving on. Our time is coming and I'm not carrying any anchors along the way. Lead follow or get the hell out the way. We have a coaching staff and a lot of young players that seem to be ready to buy in. If he's not, buh bye. I'll live with the consequences. But in reality we're not anywhere near any of these thoughts yet. I expect him to report immediately after the fourth pre season game. Go Bills!
  8. i never said it was a bull **** excuse. Simon did and I'm sure thats who you're directing your hatred toward. Furthermore as he is a mod you have that right to hate him! I happen to agree with both of you and thought Miller explained it pretty well. This will be a by product of rule changes they keep immplementing. The hit to me initially looks like something out of the longest yard. The first one as I never saw the second one. My first thought was he was aiming his head directly at his knee and ended up blasting his shoulder through it. Karma for this guy, is going to be a B word when it bites him!
  9. I was listening to a bit of NFL Radio yesterday and heard Jim Miller say that he didn't have a problem with the hit. Also they were talking about the league being unrecognizable from when he played. I guess the guy that made the hit said afterwards the league should be more concerned about guys knees than their heads with rule changes. Miller went on to say you cant blame a player as they are being fined if their hitting in the head, an rb cant lead with his head etc so this will be a natural effect of these changes. That was a gruesomew devastating hit and I would think likely end the dudes career.
  10. Based on? Not missing games in college or what?
  11. I don't know that I would say that yet. Of course that's what most of us are hoping for but I don't see him having it locked up yet. He needs to do well tomorrow to push the issue.
  12. I think Marrone will be better. He doesn't need to rely on NCAA violations to field a winner. Uh oh. What's Chip gonna do now lol I sincerely hope that Marrone is by far better off. I think I will agree with promo that Chip is far more likely to take his show back to school somewhere.
  13. It is a litmus test for Kolb for the next week and maybe more. That's all.
  14. Rags something you are overlooking in the conversation is the guys commitment to the team. Did Clements have that? No. All about me. I sure as hell wish they Jabari too but keeping T was also the right thing to do by a player that had done the right thing by you. Maybe you can use Schobel as a comparison. You can question his high level of talent but never his commitment to the Buffalo Bills.I will always hold a player in higher regard that treated the organization with respect over someone who was just chasing the paycheck or never really wanted to be here. Hello Jarius?
  15. More good stuff Astro. You can pick up your paycheck after they break camp
  16. I agree with your thoughts initially. Now I think he will make the squad based on what he has shown. But I think that's even more important with Kolb on the squad because he can be counted on to be injured so they better have a third guy on the roster.
  17. I'm surprised you would back a broken down old vet who wont be able to avoid injury just getting to the line of scrimmage every 15 seconds. Oh wait, I'm not Kolb' s future with us will be insignificant.at most. EJ will be historic. Lets just go with him straight out of the gate and I believe that will be the way forward but he does still have to show he can do it. I have ZERO doubt in him. He is the leader of this team for the at least the remainder of the Bills in Buffalo.
  18. I'll take no part in that thanks. I'm ready and wanting to win. Sick of losing. This our year to go worst to first. I thought it was going to be last year but then the chanstache just sucked every last bit of heart from our D and the whole team by not using CJ right. This year we will be who we think they are. GO BILLS!
