  1. Well then I have to take a look at everyone there, soak it up for a minute or two and then get inside for quick access to cold beer Thanks
  2. Do it! What the hell it's only about $12 a can right? During the last game someone down the street from us had what sounded like a fog horn going after Sabres goals. It felt like you were at the game Was very cool. The last game I was at was the first one they did the party out front. From the parking ramp overlooking the mass of people, I didn't see anyone selling beers. But I heard there was going to be food and beer vendors outside. Can anyone confirm that they are selling beers outside?
  3. Death to you then! Molson is swill, Labatt is where it's at.
  4. Personally I think the loss of Tallinder hurts, obviously. With that out of the way, I want to say I do not believe this is the end as some do. I think they have the right mindset to overcome this, and with help supplied like Jillson provided the team can overcome this lastest injury. Could be that Teppo comes back Friday or maybe game 5. That helps lessen the loss too. Fuzzy logic or logical math? The Sabres will win the cup if they win all their remaining home games. If the ECF goes down in six and the STF goes seven, Sabres win. At the very most they have 11 games left with 6 of them at home. Should they lose 1 at home lets say and stretch the ECF to seven games, that just means they have to win one more on the road. I'm going Friday and want the crowd to be pumped more than ever. Again Seriously even with another injury, you have to like their chances given these odds dont you? I do. So to those who are on the side of the bridge I want to tell you relax. Calm down man. This is the best injury riddled, DOOMED team of destiny EVER! Where are you now? On the bus? Bandwagon? Train? Or despondant and ready to jump off that bridge, building or even thinking of stepping in front of my bus? For the memory of Ted Darling, Go Swordsmen
  5. I am ruined by sitting in the Van Miller Club. The foods better, the booze is better, the bar is open until you leave, the seats are heated, their is a roof that extends out just enough to give you some cover, the bathrooms are far more modern and way less crowded and you get to see Van sitting on his platform outside. I said the bar is open until you leave! Isn't that good enough?? Ah yes, I remember hearing stories of how they cut off beer sales at the end of the first quarter in the Saturday night game against Denver. Not in my section they didn't! We were still swilling even after the game. I disagree with you about getting loud and rowdy. When I go my section does get that way. Van Miller Club, best seats ever!
  6. Jumping ahead a little bit but, I don't want to face the Oil in the Final.
  7. Arguing is futile, all your base belong to us.
  8. I don't think that would work, now if you're cap said "Junior drives a truck, a big black truck" that might do it
  9. They don't care. Canes ownership has been spotted in multiple airports recently. Hamilton Quebec City Winnipeg Kingston Sioux Falls The moving trucks have already been put on standby.
  10. I'm still trying to make sense of it. The stadium is full regardless of weather they were scalped tickets or not. So they are being bought up, it's more a question of are they bought by noon on Thursday or not. No?
  11. The offer that put me over the top was not only offering me all rounds at season ticket prices for bumping my mini pack up to seasons, but the real sealer of the deal for me was dropping my 200 level seats from $69 to $54 for season ticket rates. Not to take away anything from you, but I wan't to pronounce that as, BEST DEAL EVER!!! And looking at my tickets already that say Stanley Cup Finals on them is sweet.
  12. Seems like a good idea for a bus trip! GR was saying they could still get blocks of 8 together for either game 1 or 2. I can't believe that. Even for Carolina thats just pathetic for what should be fantastic hockey.
  13. John Daly said he was a Sabres fan last year
  14. Tom Hanks and Ron Howard will be Sabres fans after this cup run.
  15. That's nice. I wonder, when getting tickets if they ask for seats in turn 4
  16. Not to nit pick, even though my old lady has suddenly become a Sabres fan who can't handle the overtime period, I want to say that I think Buffalo is a manly town. Not a her town! However there is NO DOUBT that we we can and will whip any woman into a frenzy here in our town. Especially her, and especially here LETS GO BUFFALO LETS GO BUFFALO LETS GO BUFFALO On second thought, this is a pretty ccol ladies town
  17. Doesn't matter. It just simply doesn't matter. Team of Destiny! So far we've partied like it's 1999 But this is the 2006 team of destiny baby.
  18. hem ahem hem, with the high price of gasoline today I want to tell you, fans, that, we're gonna give him car. A small red car. Andre there it is, a small red car!
  19. One thing he said that made me laugh was he just goes out and plays the game and doesn't like to bring attention to himself on the field. Truly made me laugh when he said that. I think some of these guys have blinders on.
  20. I cant imagine him playing unless there is a game 7 and even then, I'm not so sure he will be playing again at all unfortunately. 5-3 Sabres, Briere with two goals
  21. Oh good god. A simple observation is too much for you. Whatever.
  22. Whoops, sorry. That is embarrasing. And I am embarrassed about the embarrassing faux pax
