  1. 1. He's played 3 games. 2. Taylor isn't Brady or Rogers 3. Dennison still implementing new. system. 4. This team has no true #1 wr to draw coverage.
  2. Today was a pleasant surprise. Great job. But it's one game. Put my serving of crow in the freezer, check back with me in a few weeks. If things continue to go well and they break the drought, I'll eat it all with a side of humble pie.
  3. If they thought it wouldn't be a crushing failure, they would try it.
  4. I prefer midnight blue.Thou I'm pretty sure that's just Lou.
  5. Well, the Bills need to make some adjustments, you might even say it's... Urgent.
  6. They won't go winless the rest of the year, defense will prevent that. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
  7. I like what I see from Darnold so far, just can't get one nagging thought out of my mind...he's a USC quarterback. NFL historically hasn't been kind to USC quarterbacks. I suppose he could be the trend breaker.
  8. I'd like to see this team in the hunt as much as anyone, but hard to see it realistically right now. Defense looks good, but offense has to drastically improve. I still think this is a 5 win team. Hope I'm wrong.
  9. Agree with a lot of this, except I don't see a path past the Patriots right now.
  10. Poyer has been a pleasant surprise thus far.
  11. Who's quitting? Quitting and criticism are not even remotely the same thing. It's ok to be optimistic about this team, good for you. It's also ok to be pessimistic about this team, you have 17 years of dysfunction to justify your position. We all want the Bills to become successful. There were some positives today, but to deny the glaring negatives is impossible for some of us.
  12. Gonna need to see a lot more than one bad game. Not falling for fool's gold this time.
  13. I for incomplete. Yes, they kept both teams in town, but have made rookie mistakes along the way. Hopefully experience will be a quick teacher and they'll get the right people to run these franchises and then let them do their jobs and give them the necessary financial support. That's what good owners do, right?
  14. Not upset, but not impressed either. They were supposed to beat the Jets by 9, they beat the Jets by 9. No major injuries, no big surprises. Lets see how they do against teams that are trying to win. Want them to play well, just not expecting miracles.
  15. Maybe unleash is McBeane speak for cutting or trading him.
  16. Bills won't get respect until they earn it.That being said, typical Patriot buttkissing by national sports media.
  17. Marcel Dareus will continue to be a disappointment.
  18. Because at the end of the day it's entertainment. It's an escape from the ordinary stresses of our daily lives. I remember how fun the games were when the Bills were in those Super Bowl runs, and would love to experience that again. In reality, no matter what happens to the Bills, I have to get up in the morning, go to work, and live my life. But even after 17 years of this, I still enjoy watching football. I just don't have the same connection with any of the other teams as I do with the one in my area. And I know they will be successful again, Nothing lasts forever, even the Bills will get their chance again. Sooner would be better than later, but since i have no control of that, all I have is hope, which as it turns out, is not easily extinguished.
  19. Even horrible teams usually win two games. Still some good players here, but with everything that's happened I believe they'll be too disjointed to be successful. I'm holding at 5-11, unless McBeane goes fire sale mode.
  20. I just had a Brad Smith flashback...Not pleasant.
  21. Don't trust them yet. I hope the "process" works, but as of today, I'm cautiously pessimistic. Nothing personal, but as a Bills fan for over 30 years, I've hoped for the best, but learned to expect dissappointment
  22. Could, but I'll believe it when I see it.
  23. Wouldn't count on blowout. You have to score lots if points to do that. 1 great RB, a good TE and a bunch of question marks at WR. The jets are bad, but can focus on McCoy and not convinced Taylor is much of a threat in this offense. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
  24. Not sure the Bills will even score 9 points, let alone cover a 9 point spread. Take the under.
  25. ....and with good cause.
