The Chargers haven't had consistent coaching, they change regimes a lot. Qb is extremely important, but so is quality, consistent coaching instead of changing schemes and personnel every 5 minutes.

When you focus on the running game and defense and neglect quarterback, you end up with 6 to 8 wins pretty regularly.

I can see this going one of 2 ways. 1. Bills split with Dolphins, eke out ugly home win over Indy, and catch Pats resting Brady, but Hoyer beats them anyway, finishing 8-8 2. The Bills lose ugly home game with Indy, with more injuries, team basically packs it in, losing all 4, finishing 6-10

He should take that nonsense to the WWE where it belongs. Although the NFL is starting to look more like "sports entertainment" every day.

Sadly, the refs didn't handle it. In fact, they completely screwed that call up. We'll see if the NFL does a better job, but I'm not holding my breath.

There are plenty of qb's in this league who could manage more than 60 yards with this group.

The Bills are stuck in the middle, like a lot of teams. What puts some teams consistently over ther top is a combination of an excellent quarterback and consistent quality coaching. The Bills have had neither. Top that with sharing a division with the Patriots, who have both, and you can see why its been 17 years of purgatory. Tyrod just isn't good enough. Expecting miracles from Peterman isn't a sound strategy. Go find someone better. Nothing personal, just business.

I don't know if he just wasn't a good fit in Buffalo, but right now it just looks like Patriots know what they're doing and Buffalo doesn't. BB and Brady are playing chess and the Bills are playing Candyland, lost in the Gumdrop mountains and just lost a turn.

Win out? At this point it's far more likely they lose out if they have to trot Peterman out there due to Taylor's injury.

I can't figure this team out. They do enough to roll off 5 wins, then look like the they've never played football before 3 weeks in a row, now they win in KC. I'm happy they did, just not sure what to expect anymore. Whatever, they beat my expected wins for the year, so here's hoping I'm wrong and this team ends the drought. Godspeed.

1. You need consistently good quarterbacking to win consistently. 2. The qb can't do the job if the o line doesn't do theirs. 3. The rb can't help you if the box is stacked due to a lifeless passing game. 4. You can't stop the run if you're d line is outmatched. 5. You can't stop anyone if you don't tackle them. 6. You can't let the other team have the ball 2/3 of the game.

4-4 Down the stretch, leaving a 9-7 record. Hope its good enough for 6 seed.

Reserving judgement until after Saints game. Good teams do lose bad games every year. Not to mention I believed they would finish 5 and 11 before the season, so they are better than some of us believed. Playoffs? I hope so, but need to see more. Kick all the tires you like, Buffalo. This team needs depth players and I say keep sifting through until you find guys that fit your system. With high injury rates and limited rosters I see little choice but to scour the discount rack on a daily basis.

Pro bowl is a joke. NFL should just name all stars for each conference and not bother with the game since no one wants to actually play or watch it.

This is done so guys on subpar teams don't "retire" then unretire a few weeks later to sign with a contending team.

Remember in Mighty Ducks when the goalie was scared of the puck so they taped him to the goal and shot pucks at him till he wasn't afraid? Maybe a similar approach would help.😄
