Dorsey played and won the Heisman in MIA with two good TEs. When he was coaching in Carolina in the SB year the TEs were is Former Teammate Shockey and Olsen. His BASE position group is 12 personnel he knows what he is doing with that position grouping. He has clearly wanted this since he has been OC. OJ Howard. Tried to get pass catching McBride in the 2nd in last years draft Bills tried to go get Hockenson at the Deadline. I trust he finally got his base position group with he type of TEs he wanted.

I think the way the 2nd will fall the value position groups are going to be in the IOL and DT for round 2. I think the WRs that would be value will be gone in the middle of the round. I think the TE run will start early. The Shocker I think that is going to confuse people is that Hooker will be the next QB taken. Reality is Levis is what he is with no upside.

And Teams realizing they can stay in base with our 12 personnel sets (which started happening after the Bye). And low and behold the offense stagnated

I seriously think Dorsey was handcuffed. His offense is based on 12 personnel. They thought they could get by with Howard and that didn’t work out. I really think a lot of people will be singing Dorsey’s praises this year IF Kincaid can come in and just flash enough as a Rookie and give them a legit 12 personnel package

Dorsey wants and Needs 2 TEs. Bills tried to get him that last year in offseason with Howard. And we’re connected to TEs at deadline. his offense was hampered because there was not a second viable TE on this team. And that Hurt so much like the running game as well because teams just stayed in Base. Hence at end of season trotting out Bobby Hart at TE2 to counter the constant Base

Now I want to take it one more step. I don’t see how defense scheme against weapons like Knox Kincaid Diggs Davis and our RBs. 12 will HAVE to see Nickel a majority of time and watch Harris and Cook eat

Value is going to likely be at OG by the time our pick comes around.

He fixes SO MUCH. team will not be able to counter 12 personnel with Base Defense. Opens up running. No longer have Bobby Hart coming in because they stay in Base. Instead will counter with Nickel making Running out of 12 so much easier. Will fix the short yardage run game. I don’t think I have been happier about a specific pick in a long time.

They just gave him the Best Weapon in the draft.

I don’t think Hopkins gets moved during this weekend. He is a post draft trade using the 2024 picks. As we got closer to the draft that was my feeling with his situation.

I know that. But Kincaid is probably and arguably the best hands on this team. Only one likely better is Diggs

He is much better than knox. Like miles better of a prospect.

Stop thinking of him as a TE. Start thinking of him as a Jacked up Slot WR
