  1. Ahhh. I have to go back and watch, to be able to talk specifics. However what I will say with Dodson is when he has to come in and relieve Edmunds with an In Game Injury he has struggled. When he has played with an entire week of practice knowing he is starting he has played well in the position. That is telling me he is a practice player, he NEEDS the practice reps. Some can step right in and perform fine with the limited in week work. Watching him it seems he is ALWAYS better when he has the reps knowing he is starting.
  2. In todays NFL and Roster constraints, Ideally your IOL prospects are OG/OC or OG/OT (Specially if you are talking in round 1). So just being an OG will hurt value, but I do think that sometimes when you are looking at a potential Pro-Bowl to All-Pro OG I dont care if he ONLY plays OG. because he will NEVER move from this position. But in terms of draft grading yes that position flexibility or lack there of will push you down boards.
  3. What McDermott Demands from his MIKE. I think the right progression in the LBer corp for non blue chip prospects is learn the Defense from the Outside, and grow into the Mike. So it would somewhat make sense with your Rooks to start outside and come in. SO I agree with you the starting mike as Constructed is likely out of Dodson and Klein. with Bernard and Spector having that shot as well. End of the day I think there could be a scheme and matchup specific LBer rotation with all of them BUT Milano (he stays on the field 100%)
  4. OMG I am right there with you. With my reactions to Kincaid and Torrance with First bumping my shoulder IS KILLING me today. Getting more experience in age SUCKS I really hope Doyle is Healthy for a solid camp competition. I would like him starting over Brown. I always thought the Doyle upside was better than Browns.
  5. He is on Bills roster according to BB.com and Spotrac
  6. The 5th COULD be a great move down spot, depending on what comes out of the 5th. One thing with no WR in rounds 1-3 I think the Hopkins thing is still alive, that ONLY goes away with a pick in rounds 1-3 which we didnt do. I am good passing on all RBs and just filling your want in UDFA (granted I hate draft picks on RBs so there is that Bias). That 5th could be a way to get back another 2 picks to Draft the player instead of fighting with the other 31 for a UDFA. Could slide from where we are in the 5th and get mulitple picks to have your choice at those future PS guys. We are in a point in the Bills roster that every year round 4 and beyond players could very well get cut after camp and not make this team (WHICH IS A GOOD THING, to have a roster like that. Ideally those cheap rookies push off the 1-3M Vet, But that is where the bills are talent wise)
  7. IF AJ KLEIN is the Starter the middle of the defense is going to have a problem. Ideally the starting three are (without seeing how Bernard and Spector have grown this offseason) Milano Dodson Bernard
  8. Yeah and Add in the experience on playing with and blocking for an offscript extend play QB and realizing NOT to hold, Just that along Upgrades Saffold. and Blocking for an Allen type, Mahomes Type, Lamar type is REALLY hard to keep from committing penalties. It will be so nice (hopefully) seeing Allen not have to deal with immediate pressure in his face again.
  9. Yes a QB is coming in UDFA either as a signing or as a Try out. They will need to in order to throw at Rookie Camp.
  10. If I use Daniel J. rankings (more should listen to him, he is EXCELLENT at what he does) and I have him as the top guy I listen to when talking prospects. we got the 9th best player at 25 and the 30th best player at 59. And the 119th best player at 91 Bills Draft is LOADED with Value
  11. I think the OL is in a slight transition. Last year their lack of POWER in the interior was evident. Basic OL Build thinking your left side is your Finesse and move side, your Right is your Power Side (Historical thinking) So I think they are looking to get more power inside to deal with the Jones, Wilkins, Donalds. Our Interior was pushed around ALOT last year. That has was the issue with the OL. And they are looking to address it. Torrence can get better laterally once in a NFL weight room and change his body a bit. I think he plays 10 lbs too heavy.
  12. 71 players with 2 more picks. So will have 73 players. Look for a UDFA class of 15-16 players (they like keeping 2 roster spots open post draft). Thin Position based on Historical 90 day roster build. WR - Probably have 5 to 6 coming. They have brought 13-15 to camp We have 8 right now. DBs - Probably need 3 to get to the historical avg. OL - 2 more to get to historical RB - will get likely 2 more I the Draft look for the Bigger Type RB that they still want on this roster. I think if the 5th comes and Roschon Johnson is still there he will be the pick. So listening to Beane all offseason. I think a DT, CB, WR and a Bigger RB will be the position groups for the next two picks if the value fits
  13. Yes and I would prefer he play LG, because his Lateral Movement limitations next to Spencer Browns Lateral Movement problems. Will hurt
  14. Yeah I have no Issue overall witht he pick. I see what the Bills are thinking here, more and more teams will be thinking with Fast LBers and being able to stay on the field more in this new age NFL. Thos big thumpers like Campbell are going to continue to be passed by more and more teams.
  15. He plays at 235. I think he can put another 10-15 on him without losing speed. Now you have a 6'1 245 250, London Fletcher type build. Maybe 1-2 inches from ideal size.
  16. With him I would rather put him on the LG position I dont think the Bills will do that. If he becomes the RT, the issue I have it both your RT and RG now have lateral movement limitations.
  17. Not a bad pick. Probably a half a round early according to where I have him as a late 3rd early 4th. He is a pretty athletic LBer with good coverage abilities. On the smaller side but I didnt hold that against him as much in my evaluation as he has a frame that can hold about 15 lbs without losing any speed or quickness which is can add that weight is London Fletcher size at 6'1 250. I really would have liked more length in my Mike, especially after being spoiled by Edmunds. But this class does not have that length. He is a very instinctive player. Really good tackler, dont miss many. Though he has very solid instincts he seems a bit slow to the spot at times, he can see where they he should be going but because he either isnt trusting what he is seeing or not as twitchy gets to the spot slow at times, which leads to having him fight through alot of wash. I am not sure that is coachable at this point with him because i seen it at least 5 plays a game. (To be honest Milano has that problem at times as well and he has gotten better at it so it very well could be a coachable thing). Personal Side Note: This also was an issue with me when I played. It improved when coach drilled into me to change the priorities of where I am getting my tells. and was able to react to what I was seeing a little faster. This LBer class really isnt that good, and it is full of alot of tweaners so I am not holding his size against him. I think outlook for year one is immediately take Dodsons Role on ST, allowing Dodson to focus on Starting Mike. I do see 3 down LBer capability in him. will take time. I would have taken Siaki Ika, DT out of Baylor here, but after this round (because we dont have a 4th) by the time we pick again the 3 down potential LBers will be gone. So i understand this pick in that Construct of this years Draft. If he can take over Tyler M's Role of a core ST at minimum by next year this will prove to be a good pick. But at the 3rd round you are looking at tools in this draft and there is tools with him to work with like the athleticism and instincts he plays with. I would worry a bit of breaking down with the Weight of the OGs getting to him (Milano too) BUT the NFL is looking for more coverage LBers with how the offenses are trending. He does really well in Zones, understands concepts of getting deeper to take the seams away as no one enters your zone. (This was something Edmunds really struggled with) and has the athletic ability in Man to cover Backs and fluid hips for man coverage. We are at the point in this years draft where that is where you look. After getting what I see two Day 1 starters in the 1st and 2nd. I am ok with tools on this pick.
  18. Love the pick. Premium assets in Offense and for Allen. Top Pass Catching weapon in Draft. Top end OG. Perfect draft so far.
  19. The Trade up and Pick got them COMPLETELY FLUSTERED
  20. Well he never is... Himself and his other 13 personalities gets crowded at times.
  21. Bills have wanted to run 12 personnel as constructed now for a Bit. Heck Last year alone. Howard, Wanted to try and get McBride in the 2nd last year, then was in talks to try and trade for Det TE at the Deadline. 12 personnel is very important to Dorsey.
  22. I do agree I think he will be likely gone. I would be fine with that. go up to 50 send off the 2024 4th that would be enough to get it done. Immediate starting OG, and the Future for Morse. Use those 4th and below picks to get the impact players, those 4th and below picks will have a hard time making this team and will end up walking anyway like alot of your later picks are doing lately because the roster is pretty complete.
  23. Give me Joe Tippmann please and thank you. and Also I am officially calling it IF Hopkins gets moved it will not be during this draft.
  24. Watching the SOUL get STRIPPED from the Dallas war room real time when Kincaids Name was announce was priceless, And absolutely shows the trade up was necessary to get the Best pass catching weapon in this draft.
  25. I think Bills fans should start to understand Beane will get the player HE wants in the 1st. What since he has been here 5 drafts with first round picks (minus the Diggs year) traded up in 4 of them to get the player he wanted.
