I think the Late flash from the safety scared the throw off. That is the coaching handcuffs we are seeing in Josh. Same with taking the designed run out of the offense. end result struggles in red zone everything gets so hard for this offense down there.
-
It matters To me not if you wish to make claims and not back them.
-
If he was he should have let it fly. Gabe was open.
-
So again you have proof Dorsey tell Josh hey in man coverage do whatever you want? Ignore the design of the route concepts
-
What is going on with the offensive juggernauts?
MAJBobby replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just wish the NFL would stop giving KC the Patriot treatment with the Refs -
Yeah no trust me bro doesn’t work. back your claim that Allen is going off script. Where is the hold package Mr progressional. Ooo wait others also do this a long time professionally. Heck everyone makes educated guesses in every profession. That is much different than your claim.
-
Like it the way it is. Maybe Dawkins doesnt react there
-
Again so I would like the proof that there is a progression that Allen said ***** it I am going to Diggs. You have that yet?
-
OK yep they have young players starting, most teams do. Here are REALLY big contributors / starters that you list will not touch to take a spot from and thier ages are this year Vonn Miller - 34 will still be here with Cap hit Poyer - 32 Diggs - 30 Dawkins - 29 Morse - 31 Hyde - 32 Tre 28 - (knee and achilles) Milano - 28 Taron Johnson - 27 Dane Jackson - 27 DaQuan Jones - 32 Jordan Phillips - 31 Leonard Floyd - 31 So they really are not getting younger they are treading water, as they will continue to be. Then why is there a thread about it all the time?
-
Except they do. Example one Concept could have a Deep to Short Read progression based on the coverage shown, and flip the very next play. So YES they do change play to play defense to defense, script to script. So unless you are in those build meetings you can guess who the 1st read is, but as I said that is a guess. Guessing is fine too. But to say Allen is doing things on his own vs designed n the offense that is where I am calling for the proof. which you have yet to show. I can only confirm Allen stays on Diggs way to long multiple times a game and it costs the team. So is that in the play design (doubt it) Is that Diggs saying feed me (doubt it) Is it Allen Trusts Diggs to make a play and get the needed play compared to his other weapons (absolutely)
-
Again you cannot say who is the primary read definitively without being in the build meetings. SO you can tell me to watch whatever film you want me to watch unless you are in the build meetings you cannot tell me who is the primary read for a single route, you can assume but that is it.
-
well not really they seem pretty stable based on AVG Age 2018 - 26.7 (28th youngest) 2019 - 26.3 (26th youngest) 2020 - 26.1 (23d youngest) 2021 - 26.3 (24th Youngest) 2022 - 26.5 (27th youngest) 2023 - 26.11 (29th youngest) So seems they are one of the older teams yearly actually.
-
Are you sure? Because I would need to see the evidence that Diggs is the first read from Allen only, and not the play designed with Diggs as the first read.

Unleash Josh Allen...stop trying to change him
MAJBobby replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
The guy on the 20 is open but Josh left pocket and takes that WR out of it. -
Perfect example. Top of Drop. 10 wide open in the break that ball comes out then 10 is still running. Not to mention a led throw into the Endzone is a TD with Gabe as well as he had his man beat and the safety was in no position to get over top
-
Right now his value is likely around 8M a year.
-
Still useless in the redzone and why I will always scream when I see them. Planned Run Usage of Allen is non-existent this season and other teams see that too so at the end of the day the Shotgun Run is just a Shotgun run at this point.
-
Only time I yell at the TV about a play call is a Shotgun handoff in the redzone. I am about done with those. Rest of play calling you would be remised to scream about it at the broadcast angle. wait until the all 22 is out and we will see if the route concepts are producing open routes. Though I do question the progression build in certain route concepts. Like is Diggs always the first read and everything comes off that?

Tracking thanks. Just wasnt really looking at the return this season for Tre more so the surgery type. It seems from the small sample size recovery is better with this procedure. I am worried as Achilles with the position Tre plays I am not sure he will ever come back to the level of play he is capable now at this point. Not even considering the mental strain on Tre which he clearly admits that was an issue with COVID, the Knee and Damar's Inj.

Ok so the deadline is about 15 days away. 31 October is that deadline. So now how I feel about the Bills going into this. 1. I am using Beane history that he will not give up premium assets for a rental player, so guys on their final year likely will not be in the Mix (unless a new contract is part of that). 2. Bills only have roughly 1.8M in space this year so most likely money in has to mean money out. 3. Still have some cap tickets in Dawkins and Morse if you are willing to kick their hits down the road a bit. Not big cap tickets but enough to make room for an added top end player as need be. Needs the way I see it for the Bills in Priority. 1. CB (need a legit starting Boundary CB) 2. WR2 (can be a slot as well instead of the boundary WR2) 3. 1T DT 4. WLB (this could be depth only if need be). So teams that seems to be confirmed to be Sellers: Denver Broncos Teams that SHOULD be selling NY Giants AZ Cardinals CHI Bears Min Vikings Car Panthers NE Patriots Denver Broncos Yes I read the reports that their entire roster is for sale with the what looks like Exception of Surtain II (which I absolutely would love to get) so that leaves the rest against the needs I see CB - None WR - Jeudy and Sutton: Juedy fits in the current cap likely with the prorated salary and has his 5th year option picked up. So not a rental. Trading for Jeudy means Gabe Davis is walking. So think of a 3rd round pick coming back as well for that. Sutton has this year and two more at cap hits of 18M (this year) 17M and 17M. I dont think this is an option for them. So for me it is Jeudy Two other Names to watch here are Josey Jewell (LBer) and Justin Simmons (expensive) I think both are nos from Bills. NE Patriots (I get it the division, but Bills and Pats have made deals in the past). I think the only realistic Option here and it might be cheaper is Kendrick Bourne. Tight money wise and a rental so I am not sure if that is an option. Others I have read rumors about Hunter Henry Trent Brown Josh Uche Kyle Dugger (will probably take a big offer here) Myles Bryant New Addition I was reading is Rhamondre Stevenson (cost controlled next year as well.) Vikings Harrison Smith - Lot of talk about doing the right thing and dealing him to a contender KJ Osborn is a Bourne level WR. I think the talent is there with him wont be expensive also doesnt solve the No 2 issue either, just shuffles the lower WRs on this team Some LBers in Hicks and Wonnum Ezra Cleveland (unhappy at OG wants a shot for OT) Danielle Hunter Harrison Phillips Panthers Shenault Hayden Hurst Brian Burns Jeremy Chinn - I like this option not a CB but will be safety. Bills liked him in his draft process. Would need a new deal post trade, but in theory could wait until the offseason. At 25 would give that option for life after Hyde or Poyer. This is a build now and in future type trade. CJ Henderson could be that CB option though is a rental and Car declined his option so would need a new deal. Giants Xavier McKinney - similar to Chinn in a build now and future. Would need that new deal Adoree Jackson - Probably not an option without a reduced deal meaning extension cannot fit his contract as is. Leonard Williams Sterling Shepard - has been rumored to be moved to a contender to do right by him for a couple weeks now. So with all those names that I am tracking on the block from these various teams. some that can slide right into the space we currently have are Jerry Jeudy Kendrick Bourne (tight) Myles Bryant Rhamondre Stevenson KJ Osborn Ezra Cleveland Jeremey Chinn Laviska Shenault Xavier McKinney

Numbers suggest your narratives are wrong on the offense.
MAJBobby replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah and it really took a hell of a play from a LBer playing out of his mind last night to make the play on that Pick. -
I am wondering has there been anything about Tre opting for that similar procedure?

MAJBobby replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here it is. You can see it in the charts. We hear so much about the Shell that defenses play when against the Bills. What you dont see in the passing charts is those cover two beaters in the middle from the 10 to 20 yard range. I mean seriously I would have to think those routes are in the playbook, otherwise it is malpractice knowing you are going to face a shell EVERY GAME and you have no routes designed specifically to beat that shell. -

The issue really isnt in the QTY it is in the location. I cannot wait to see the Allen Passing Chart from yesterday. as expected. and in trend with this offense. ALOT Of short and LOS throws
