Went to the game yesterday and watched pre-game warmups...I noticed how effortlessly Tyrod was throwing from his own goal line to the 35 yard line and hitting his targets. Little did I know that these pre-game passes would be the longest deep throws of the day?!
Where were the deep balls to Watkins, Goodwin, Clay? Was this Roman's conservative play calling or lack of recognition by Tyrod? Although he seemed rushed most of the day due to bad O-line play, Tyrod missed some open receivers on many occasions. Not even taking a shot downfield, was showing too much reverence for the Ravens...
Also, since the Bills deferred, we got the ball at the start on the 2nd half. Since half the stadium was still getting concessions and it was relatively quiet, the bills showed no urgency to move the ball quickly. It was a missed opportunity to take advantage of a quiet stadium.
One last rant- why the "eligible receiver" call for O-Lineman Ryan Groy at least 5 times during the game? Was Rexy trying to throw a "smoke-screen?" Burn the footage from this game up!
