  1. The web dude is too busy getting the website back up. He'll never see it coming.
  2. You can't bring that weak stuff up in this holly holly! Get ready, b1tch - the pain train's comin'! WOOO!
  3. Who still pulls over for the cops? I say run. You're a bad man, they'll never catch you.
  4. Be the knight in shining armor. Do everything for her she is unwilling to do herself. Years later, marvel at how much time and effort you spent, how miserable your life was while you did this, and how ultimately, she pissed it all away anyway. Or, give her the cop's card, the good advice on this thread for her to follow (rather than you on her behalf), and wish this adult the best of luck getting her own life together. Then go find a chick who already has.
  5. Stairs are for poor people.
  6. Probably still is. Oh - never mind.
  7. $2.60 in Deland tonight. Volusia County has $0.10 per gallon tax, so if I went to Seminole County (Orlando direction), I could probably get $2.50. And the first day I spent in Okinawa was almost my last, as I looked left to cross the street, began to step off the curb, and had a bus pass from right to left at about 50mph approximately 5 inches in front of me.
  8. Legalize marijuana, and ban the "Legalize it" song.
  9. Peter King can't bring that weak ass stuff up in this humpty-bumpty! Doesn't he know productivity's up 46%? The pain train's comin'! WOO-WOO!
  10. Absolutely. I don't post here much anymore, and a healthy respect of lightning strikes keeps me away from church entrances, but I too will say a prayer for Millbank. This forum is better for his presence.
  11. Absolutely. I like Harleys just fine - but if it had to be a Harley I'd still be saving up for it instead of riding. My 2004 Suzuki Volusia is my commuter vehicle, which is year-round down here in FL.
  12. Use a laundry clothesline clip to place a playing card in the spokes. Problem solved.
  13. Woke up yesterday morning to find it went west-east across Deland about 0.5 miles south of my house. My neighborhood doesn't look like anything at all happened. No trees/limbs down, never lost power - apparently our power source runs in from the north. 1/2 mile south of us there's a path of destruction a couple hundred feet wide - just a mess. A lot of trees/power lines down, rooftops gone on brick/block houses, less substantial structures wiped out. I work south of here, and I had a heck of a time getting out of town in the morning. All southbound roads blocked. Almost gave up, finally found a back road going south that probably should have been closed - I think I just got there before emergency vehicles. Drove around some trees and over some power lines and made it to work after a couple hours (normally a 1/2 hour drive, took over an hour just to get out of Deland). By the time I came home, I could make it through a little easier - utility companies work slowed things down, but most roads were passable (single lane at a time, though). Working on checking on friends that have homes/businesses in the path. What a mess.
  14. I think the concern was the evidence was collected legally so that he can be convicted.
  15. If you consent to a search, police don't require a warrant. Restaurant owner consents, police take evidence into custody. Nice job. Only possible downside I see is with a DNA-evidenced sure conviction staring him down, bad guy might be offered a plea out to avoid death penalty. At least he's caught.
  16. I wanted to get my name on my license plate, but it was already taken. So I had my name changed to KGR-447.
  17. It almost doesn't matter what country - living in a foreign country can seriously expose weaknesses, either in a person's character or in a couple's relationship. If you and your wife have your collective sh-- together, you could enjoy the place more than you could've imagined. On the other hand, I've seen people who just needed a little push to go over the edge find it in short order after they walk through immigration and customs. Two years would not be enough to see all there is to see there. There's post-sponsored tours going to places all over the country pretty much all the time. I lived near Camp Humpreys from 1983-1994. Back then we used to go down the road from where I lived outside Osan Air Base to Anjong-ni (the town outside Camp Humphreys) for the best BBQ Rib joint in the area, or on post to the Nightowl club, which in the early 80's was the only place in-country you could get a real pizza. Things have changed a lot since then. The countryside I lived in is all high-rise apartment buildings. There's american fast food joints everywhere. The city of Pyongtaek has engulfed everything in between the post and the air base. The 8th Army HQ (in charge of all US Forces Korea) is moving down there from Seoul, so no more small post, sleepy town - it's going to be The Post in a Major City.
  18. I'll pass. Might want to check on a few of the folks who post here, though.
  19. Cool, Insurance Adjuster vs Lawyer. When's the car salesman vs IRS auditor match? Two men enter, one man leaves!
  20. But he can rap his college stats.
  21. Anyone want to contribute to cutting/pasting this list for practice squad eligibility? The ones I marked so far were from the article on the front page. I don't know what the rules for eligibility are. Eligible to be placed on the PS (Y/N): Rashad Baker Eric Bassey - Y Joe Burns Brad Cieslak - Y Liam Ezekiel Lionel Gates Justin Geisinger Jon Goldsberry Jason Hall Wendell Hunter - Y Fred Jackson Jason Jefferson Greg Jerman Eric King Jim Leonhard - N Ryan Neill - Y Joe Odom Alan Ricard Lauvale Sape Jonathan Smith Jason Thomas George Wilson - Y
  22. LIB - not actually an abbreviation, just how southerners say "Well, I'll be".
  23. Must've been a titmouse.
  24. Puss. Ronnie Lott would just have the toe removed, and not miss a down. If anyone here needs, I believe there's someone who posts here that would be willing to do it for you.
