  1. I feel like I've had the blues for goin' on ten years. But I've been a fan of the blues a little longer than that. Younger SRV fans, take a listen to some Johnny Winter, it might be a sound you like too.
  2. When I hear this song, other than Dylan, I always think of George Doran playing it.
  3. RIP friend. I don't spend as much time on here since you left.
  4. I'm not a religious man, but I think you misunderstand Buddhism.
  5. Dummy? Lemming? Cattle call? Really? I'm sorry, was I gushing over anyone's analysis? Have I been posting about how great this draft is? All I suggested was revealing your draft boards, and let's compare them. Oh, you're not a draft analyst? So, Chavous has a lot more experience and knowledge on the subject than you do? Ok, thanks for the info.
  6. I guess you could post your boards for the drafts from 2006 to 2010, and we could compare them to CC's boards and how the drafts went, and how the players turned out since then, and then we could see who's better at it. If we gave a rat's ass.
  7. You are being far too reasonable. If you want to be a part of the "I'm smarter than the new GM/Coach" club, you're going to have to raise your game up a notch. See some of the posts in this thread for examples.
  8. lol, I wonder if anyone votes the same guy as opening day starter, and the one they want to see released...
  9. He said Baltimore Colts.
  10. I've attempted applying for jobs cross-country. Many employers won't even look at your resume if you're not local. And that was when the unemployment rate was lower. With more people out of work, they can find suitable employees amongst the pool in their area. If you're not hiring a high level executive position, why even bother with someone 1000 miles away? (I wasn't asking for moving expenses either.)
  11. Haven't shaved since opening day. I'm in. https://www.beardathon.com/sabres/team.aspx
  12. What I find interesting is I love nearly every item listed, and would gladly eat them anytime, anywhere. With a fox, in a box. So what makes some foods so distasteful to some, but others love them? That part I don't get.
  13. I suspect I just can't cook well enough to do it right. You overcook them, they are wicked bad.
  14. I'll eat pretty much anything. Hell, I've eaten things in 3rd world countries I've yet to identify. But brussel sprouts are a different story. Prepared properly, meh. Overcooked, they are one of the most horrible, bitter things I've ever tasted. I just pass on those from now on.
  15. I have something misguided and angry to say about this current event. I'm posting it here because I know it will start a giant debate, and I am super bored. Written for Facebook, but sounds like PPP also.
  16. My condolences. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
  17. I haven't shaved since hockey season started October 1st. Gotta support the team.
  18. Barry Goldwater was the most famous person I've had a conversation with through my work. I don't know if he was what you would consider a celebrity, though.
  19. I liked Silent Bob better when he was silent.
  20. Trey is from DeLand, Florida. Want me to search the phone book?
  21. Final season of lost promises to make fans more annoying than ever.
  22. I have no problem with Tim G reporting that - according to "sources close to Schottenheimer", Ralph Wilson is the one who made the decision not to interview/hire him. However, his source is not going to know that for a fact. It is far more likely that Ralph is simply willing to take the heat for Buddy not wanting to hire his friend. Unless he has "sources close to Buddy Nix", to say that it was without a doubt that Ralph made that call is total BS. Perhaps that is why he said it on radio, and did not submit it to be published. The story he posted is only one side.
  23. Buddy Nix hired exactly the kind of coach he said he was looking for. He pointed out that the media in the last two weeks had no clue what he was up to, and if you look over what they reported, he's right. I don't know how to put this but Jerry Sullivan is kind of a big deal. People know him. He's very important. He has many leather-bound books and his apartment smells of rich mahogany.

  25. I think you mean 805cc. 2004 Suzuki Volusia Intruder, same as yours except I have a carb instead of EFI. Love this bike, it's my daily commuter. Nothing against the HD line, but I didn't spend that much on my new car. I would need a LOT more disposable income before I threw that kind of money at something. If you go out of state, there's no replacement for displacement, but I don't, so it would be a waste of money for me.
