    How fast is Lee Smith? DiMarco? There’s plenty of room to have every receiver active on game day and, IMO, it’s something that the team needs. The more versatile our offense, the better. Williams brings a couple ingredients otherwise lacking.

    I seriously don't mean this in a disparaging way and hope you don't take it as such. Do you know how silly it is to use the term immediate results when talking about Sabres? That's as far from reality as you can get. We do want results and when they arrive there will be nothing immediate about them.

    The only shame is that I’m not alone as someone who was firmly in his corner who has serious concerns. His in game decision making, hands off approach to his OC etc are not helping this team get better.

    Kroft, why? DiMarco, why? Perry, why? i could go on, yet, the team doesn’t see fit to bolster its, arguably, worst unit by dressing Williams. McDermott is losing me.

    I agree, he caught him, unintentionally, but if he is that fragile I worry for him. There was no speed and little impact there.
