    Absolutely correct. Rather than looking in the mirror though, Rex should look in the rear view mirror. Buddy Ryan, defensive genius, was innovative and his defense evolved over time. He was ahead of the curve for a time because of this. Rex's unwillingness to adapt put him behind the curve.

    I'll agree with that with this caveat...if you like a QB you better draft him a full round before where you have him slotted. If you wait for a QB to drop to you it's likely you'll be waiting a very long time (17 years even). Ponder this...you don't need a top 5 all time QB, you just need a top tier QB at that place in time.

    I get what you're trying to say, but, backlash isn't the right word. Maybe "genuine concern" for a player even though "'we don't know the medical details like he and his family do." That's a positive reflection on Bills fans, not something negative.
