  1. Also need to go to the college model. Spot foul or 15 yards, enough of this chuck it as far as you can and hope for PI crap. The reward far outweighs the risk.
  2. Peterman is the backup so that he gets a few practice reps along the way. If Yates is retained he's #3 until Taylor gets hurt. If that were to happen I think Yates gets the start(s). The Bills don't care whether Yates gets practice snaps.
  3. People see things as black or white. I see this as the Bills gave up a good corner for a decent corner. I see this as the Bills gave up a potentially game changing WR for a very good WR. The kicker is the extra picks they acquired. How many games did folks think the Bills would win this season? Find me those who were saying playoffs prior to the trades. I thought that they were a 5-7 win team before the trades. I now think that they are a 5-7 win team. Sorry to the woe is me crowd this year won't be markedly different than it would have been with Darby and Watkins in my opinion. The kicker is the extra picks they acquired. Did I mention the extra picks they acquired?
  4. That's quite a sour opinion.
  5. With an eye towards building a team rather than a bully I firmly approve. Two moves that will help shape the positive future of the Bills for years to come.
  6. Better than letting him go for nothing. The GM and HC are thinking long term and Sammy wasn't part of their plans.
  7. Pump the brakes people, this isn't Nathan Peterman we're talking about. He did some things very well (rush the passer). He did other things not so well (hold up against the run). Love the story and I hope he continues to impress, but, work on that run defense.
  8. He will also be playing with better players on his side of the ball. Doesn't just go one way as you are implying.
  9. He had trouble with contain on some runs, hopefully that's something he improves on.
  10. Well, they are white so....
  11. And each ended up in the NFL. Same difference.
  12. That's a comparison I hadn't thought of, good one. I think that changing schools was a good thing for him, kind of like Newton and Chad Kelly.
  13. Calm under fire. Kept his poise. Delivered the ball into a tight window. Lofted a touch pass for a TD. Ran for a couple first downs when the field opened up in front of him. Ran for a first down rather than attempt a short pass because he knew he had the sticks. Compare that to Yater.
  14. They requested some curious add ons. I wonder what they are for?
  15. Good read. One of those you have to pull for.
  16. Not at all. I believe to this day that Johnson was the better option at that time. That said, Johnson's comments are ****ty. Can't believe he mentioned Flutie's kid, totally classless.
  17. She loves nuts. What's wrong with that?
  18. http://www.newyorkupstate.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2017/08/rob_johnson_still_seems_upset_about_losing_buffalo_bills_qb_job_to_doug_flutie.html Personally I was never a fan of the Flutie, but this is the sourest of grapes.
  19. He didn't say anything different from what's been written here, you're right though, he was pretty blunt about it. That doesn't bother me a bit. I don't think it will have an appreciable effect, but, you never know. What coach/QB combination had a timer during training camp a few years back? Was that JP? Bledsoe? I honestly can't remember.
  20. McShifty emotional? Sorry, I haven't seen any indication of that.
  21. straight doesn't matter when you're butt hurt
