Has anyone had the McRib at McDonald’s? I had one the other night and it was even better than I remembered. It had probably been 10 years in between sandwiches

No, but I did order some Beef on Weck from Anderson's for my sister in Virginia!

I ordered some back in late October to see how it came packaged and it was glorious!!! I had two Beef on Weck's for the Patriot's game! It was like I was back home!!!

  2. I deeply regret not going to ONE of the four Superbowls. Financially, I realistically, probably, most likely couldn't have afforded it anyways!! But, damn, I wish I had the experience for at least one.

I've waiting a long time to see the Bills finally rise again. Now, I'm better off financially and would likely try to get tickets. But, someone mentioned $5K above? I think my limit would be at max, $2,500. Anything more, well, my 55" OLED TV does look!!

  3. There was an interview with Jim (pre-season I believe) and he was so very impressed and taken with Josh. I really think Jim sees a lot of himself in Josh. I think that there's an aspect of Josh that reminds Jim of perhaps having a son that didn't have the issues Hunter did and that there's a certain level of pride in watching him play like he does. Just my take....

  4. Interesting take. I will say that every time they showed him on the sideline, he just looked "pouty". I don't sense any enthusiasm and "let's go" attitude. As much as I dislike Tom Brady and I thought he came across as fake, he was at least going up and down getting the team amped up when they got down. Sure, there were those great times when they were so far out of the game and he looked dejected on the bench, but he was mostly rah-rah.

I'll say it again, I would not trade MY quarterback for ANY in the league.

Kelly did that during a D friendly stretch and also missed 1 or 2 games that year IIRC or he probably would’ve also broken through 4K yards—but it’s time the torch gets passed, and I couldn’t be happier Josh is well on his way!

I mentioned this in another thread. Last year, I finally bought a John Allen jersey and wore it to the playoff game here in Houston. Couldn't have been prouder!! I used to only wear my Jim Kelly jersey, but it's been replaced by #17!!

Indeed. He was knocked out of the Colts game early that year and he sat out the finale against the Lions. He threw 33 in 14 games!

Very glad to see Josh pushing these limits already.

That reminds my of OJ breaking the 2,000 yards. In a 14 game season!! I appreciate all the other running backs that have reached 2,000, but only OJ did it in 14 games.

But even the 90’s teams usually played very well in “Buffalo weather” whatever that means (compared to every other northern team’s weather also)—some of Kelly’s best games were in rough weather especially against Miami.

I'm reminded of the AFC Championship game against the Raiders. We looked so good in the elements and they just looked miserable.

  7. OK, I'm going to start this thread the right way, using the correct phrasing: Here me out!

Scenario: The Bills win out and the Steelers falter just enough to put us above them.

The Bills win on Sunday (10-3) and the Steelers fall to 11-2.

Browns will beat the Steelers week 17, dropping them to 13-3. (**They could also lose to the Colts week 16). Bills have the tie-breaker over the Steelers.

The only problem obtaining the #1 seed, first-round bye and home field advantage is the Chiefs. I can see a loss to the Dolphins (if Fitz plays!) and a loss to the Saints. But, then they have the Falcons and Chargers at home to finish the season out. They probably finish 13-3 and they would have the tie-breaker over us!

    I think we end-up the #2 seed.

I still am having a tough time wrapping my head around the Buffalo Bills actually having a QB that is worth that much money.

    But....they do.

I remember when Jim Kelly signed his new contract and was the highest paid QB in the league at the time. Nice to have that again!
