  1. Totally agree!!!!!! Brady would wilt under any other team.
  2. Every time I read "Beane" my brain goes immediately to Mr. Bean. Hopefully he's better....
  3. EXACTLY!!!! The friggin' season hasn't even started. Currently, we are undefeated!! So far, I like what I see and hear (not hear, actually!! big difference!!!). I liked all the moves in the draft. McCoach seems focused, intense and determined to build a long-term winner here. He reminds me a bit of Belichick - no nonsense, 100% focused on football. I like it and won't change my opinion until mid-December when we are either completely out of it or ready for the playoffs. GO BILLS!!!!!
  4. So, you're saying it won't be Yates?
  5. Oh, so you're an OLD fan. You must miss that 1970 season. Or the '68 one. Why, '78 wasn't that long ago. Good times..... Look, I'm an old fan, too. But, I recognize needs on this team. TT did well enough last year to get us into the playoffs. The defense is what killed us. So, addressing our needs is smart. I'm not the biggest TT fan, but I will say that he has that elusiveness that you can't teach or defend against. If he has more time to throw and give him more blue chip targets, offense will be fine.
  6. "I thought I told you to wait in the lobby...." "Go get your f**king shinebox...."
  7. I'm not a huge Whaley fan, mainly because his demeanor and public speaking leave a LOT of to be desired. But, he has been responsible for finding good value in players that are considered done, busts, or not good. The Richie signing, Lorax, Micah Hyde, etc. Plus, kept some solid players on this team. He didn't reach on keeping Gilmore or Wood. If Doug worked his magic on the KC trade, then he stays. I also think it would be too disruptive to fire him at this point in time. Maybe after the season if we digress further. But, he seems to be working to bring in good-value players still.
  8. Perfectly written post. I couldn't agree with you more!! Excellent!!
  9. I absolutely disagree! The CB need was there last year. Gilmore was mailing it in most of the season, has never been a tackler and we were never going to pay the money he got from the Cheats. Plus, he refused to accept a lower offer prior to the start of the season, which tells me he wanted out and knew he could make big money. IMO, he is NOT worth the money paid. But, Gilmore wasn't the only one in the backfield. We still were in need of a strong cornerback, plus we still need a good A.Williams replacement. So, I applaud the Bills for a very NON-BILLSY move!! We got great value for the trade, plus a solid CB. Think about it this way: Would we have traded our #10 pick, plus a 3rd and next year's 1st to retain Gilmore??? Not a chance in hell!!
  10. That was funny!!!
  11. OK, I guess I'm confused and didn't have the spare time to read ALL 80 PAGES. Do the Bills still have the option of matching the offer? Is there a deadline? Or is this a done deal? For the record, I'm a fan of TD Mike. He provided a hammer to McCoy's finesse runs. That YPC is not a joke; he earned it and I think the Bills a foolish to let him go. I keep hearing that RB's are a dime-a-dozen. Well, all I know is that this guy got it done when called on. J.Williams hasn't been as explosive or consistent. This guy is worth the money.
  12. Still better than having Whaley talk. A lot better.....
  13. I think you need another Labatts Blue! Clearly (according to all the other threads), we will be taking a quarterback in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. That should do it! If one of them can play OLB, the better!
  14. those would both be idiotic signings. Cutler sucks and ain't getting any better. Byrd is done, plus wore out his welcome years ago. No thanks. Give me a young stud that's hungry and ready to prove rather an old, inconsistent veteran that'll be counting the money while on IR after week one.
  15. Did anybody see his casually thrown 66-yard throw at the OSU spring game?? That's the potential that I love about this guy!! http://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/cardale-jones-gives-it-the-old-college-try-with-66-yard-throw-at-osu-spring-game/
  16. HAHAHAHA....really? Have you not watched him play yet? Look, I'm a fan if he can improve. Love the arm and I think the kid's a gamer for sure. But, accuracy is the name of the game. If it wasn't, EJ would still be here!
  17. This kid definitely fits the description "gamer". Now, granted that was a highlighted reel, but from what I see he is giving 100% every play. Someone mentioned slow. I didn't really see it, but what I did see was the instinct to know where the ball is and go after. I would love this kid on our team. Seems to have a fire. I like that.
  18. That's still a strong selling point!!! Mmmmmm....mighty! It's lunchtime, I'm in Houston and 2,000 miles from the closest Mighty.
  19. If we were to structure a new deal in which we pay Percy in Advil, would that work?
  20. Yep! Totally agree!! Quote of the year there!!!
  21. That's sounds like a bully!! (now, where have I hear that before?)
  22. History is destine to repeat itself? I would love to think that, but there's still that Flutie Curse hanging over OBD.....
  23. Kinda goes hand-and-hand. Give the ball to your playmaker.
  24. Awesome!!! You can see the Chunky soup endorsements coming right after being drafted!!!
