Cincinnati Bengals Thank You Thread

Dilly Dilly, indeed!!! My wife is from Cincinnati and we were so excited watching the end after the Bills game!! Thank you, Red Rifle!! (he's actually from Katy, TX right around here!). Such an awesome ending to a game and end to a playoff drought!!!! -
Without a doubt!! Several end-zone plays where they blocked the pass! I was super excited when we signed Hyde. I knew how good he was in Green Bay and still amazed they didn't try to re-sign him!! I knew nothing of Poyer and have been very, very pleased with his performance and enthusiasm!!! Add EJ Gaines to this as well!!

Sunday is the biggest game since 2004
Houston's #1 Bills Fan replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At the beginning of the season (and even before), so many had predicted a 3 maybe 4 win season. So much gloom and doom. But, here we are knocking on the playoffs door!! It's not easy, for sure (17 years will do that!). But, this is a very exciting time of the year. IMO, the scenarios to get in aren't that daunting: 1. I think the Bills can win against the Dolphins if McCoach and that "OFFENSIVE" coordinator have a solid, flexible game plan (NO TOLBERT!!!!!!!!!!!!) 2. Bengals and Marvin Lewis have a winning record against the Ravens. I also feel that the Bengals are playing for pride and don't much care for the Ravens. This is going to be a nasty game. I think the Bengals approach the Ravens just like they do the Steelers. I see a Bengals win. 3. Jags aren't backing down despite already being locked-in to the playoffs. Jaguars are the better team and the Titans have been erratic. I see the Jags heading into the playoffs strong with a win. I think Marrone feels that the Jaguars are better than the Pats* and Steelers and can be the ultimate underdog. But, he's going to keep them hot. Jags win. 4. Chargers/Raiders. Haven't a clue what really happened to the Raiders this year, but they seem to be starting to head in a better direction as of late (played well against the Eagles). The Chargers barely beat the Jets and struggled against the Browns. The Chiefs took them to town. So, AFC West showdown. Tough game to call. I can see the Raiders spoiling the Chargers' dream. I certainly hope so. This game might be the toughest to predict. But, go with the trifecta and Raiders win. 5. BILLS IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!!! -
Does the Miami rivalry still matter?
Houston's #1 Bills Fan replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Totally agree. While the 70's Dolphin dominance created the rivalry (BTW, they WERE very good) and the early 80's wins against them were inspiring, it reached the peak during the Kelly/Marino SB years. After that, no one cared. Shula and Marino were gone and then they pretty much have sucked like us for the most part. No-name coaches, QB's. Stadium that has changed it's name multiple times. Trust me, I still don't like them, but damn if I hate the F****** Patriots SO MUCH MORE!!!!! It's their arrogance, the cheating, complete control of AFC East and the BS calls that the Pats* always get. I hate Brady, I respect, but hate Belicheck and Kraft is a POS. So, yeah.....no more Dolphin rivalry, but boy do the Pats* create a lot of anger issues!!!! Hmmm....insightful... -
No!!!! I loved Karlos' production his first year. But then he proceeded to eat/toke over the off-season and the fat bastard was never the same. I was joking that he's probably over 300 lbs by now! That being said, if Karlos had fully committed to football, he'd probably still be here. But, Tolbert just plain sucks. I'd easily take Freddy right now over him! One play in particular I notice on Sunday: He's barreling forward with a good bit of steam, hits the Pats* defender and falls like a brick. Now, you'd think with all that weight, he'd have knocked that defender into next week! Nope and that's our RB problem: we don't have a punisher to spell Shady. How many teams ran their back straight at us and we couldn't stop them (NO, Jets, Pats*). We just don't have a bruiser and we need one for late in the game when their defense is tired.

Week 15 Game Balls vs. Miami
Houston's #1 Bills Fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No mention of Milano. I think he had some good plays. Tre, TT and Shady were on top, though. Honorable mention to Cap Capi (good play, but also like saying his name!). -
Exactly!!! Why even bring him off the practice squad? Probably so NE doesn't poach him! But, no Tolbert does make me happy! Now, about Ducasse.....
