I always thoughts that the LORAX was a better pass-rusher than LB. His success since coming to Buffalo has been getting to the QB. Keeping him on that, along with Hughes. I finally felt like we actually had a decent pass-rush in 2018. Including preseason.....

By the time this fool jumped offsides for a punt on a 4th and 5, I was already asking what else could go wrong. So, I guess it's my fault. But, my GOD man, how can you jump offsides when you know that they'll get an automatic first down?!?! I mean, that's basic!!

Politely disagree. From what I've seen of Allen, he's got a future. Kid can play. He needs protection and a supporting running game. But, I'm talking defense right now.

Watching today's game, I couldn't help but notice the majority of times that Flacco was able to hit his receivers and our defensive backs/corners/linebackers were playing with such a large cushion that he was able to complete the pass. What good is it if you stop the run after the catch after they've completed a first down. I saw this all day. Conversely, there was a good game film analysis of our receivers all covered man-to-man and Allen had no where to throw the ball. Is our defense more a factor of the "bend, don't break" philosophy? Cuz we was broke pretty bad today.... Thoughts?

Of the four main QBs this year, Allen always stuck out to me as the most prototypical for today's NFL. I really was happy when we selected him and I think he'll be a long-term fan favorite for years. I think he'll do well in Buffalo weather. Very excited about this pick and the rest of the draft. Done perfectly!!

So, with the AJM signing, does it make sense that we might not go QB with the first pick or even move up? I think there's a chance Vita Vea might still be there at 12. I really think this kid is a once every 10 year draft kind of talent. Does he fill a big need on the defensive line? Or, do you think signing Star Lotulelei eliminated the Bills thoughts on D line in the first round?
