  1. Living in Houston, I have finally broken down and bought the NHL Center Ice this past weekend. I got to see the shootout win and then last night's OT win. It's been awesome!! Finally the Sabres are back to being good.
  2. Thanks, Shaw!! I pointed that out in an earlier thread that complained that Zay had no receptions. I said he had the most important one: the onside kick!!! So true, brother, so true! BTW - Excellent write-up as usual. I always look forward to reading your post - win or loss. Maybe the next Jags game we'll see if Allen can fight like Nolan!!
  3. He caught the onside kick. That's better than any other reception today!
  4. Thanks for bringing this up. I saw that play and I was screaming at the TV. Total BS. It was clearly and obviously PI. Bastages!!!
  5. I understand that and you're likely right, but we still needed to execute passes, runs, etc. And we did!! My question is how and why can't we now?
  6. Early on, we saw how the season was likely going to go watching the Ravens game. The following game against the Chargers didn't help much either, until the second half. But, then the Vikings game blew everybody away. I watched my beloved Bills kick the **** out of the Vikings. It wasn't even close. So, what the hell happened with that glorious game and the rest of the stinkers? I'll say the we should have won the Texans game. We had that game. I also think we had the chance to beat the Patriots if Anderson isn't sacked and fumbles the ball. But, yesterday, ugh. It was hard to watch. Special teams drove me crazy. Shady ain't Shady with this line. Receivers are a joke. But, there was that Vikings game............
  7. Like them scoring there would have made any difference. Besides, he actually had quite a wide open field! If he could run better, hell, he might have made it!
  8. I thought Peterman played fine yesterday. He really didn't make a lot of mistakes. What I saw were receivers that can't get separation at all; terrible bad luck with the fumble and interception, Shady not doing a dang thing and no throws down field to even try to get a pass interference call. It seems that every team we've played this year, a long bomb that was incomplete was call pass interference on us. We need to at least try to throw downfield.
  9. Agreed with everything you said. McCoy is done. There may be flashes here and there, but overall, he is too slow and can't escape like in the past. Today, I saw a big 300 pound lineman catch him from behind. I also saw last week on the wildcat plays continual lost yardage (except the first one). I hope Ivory is OK, because he is vital to the run game. However, now at 2-7, who cares.
  10. Wouldn't have been a pick six, but OT loss with a three and out on the first drive and a long bomb by the Texans, pass interference called against us and FG to win for the Texans.
  11. Yeah, too me, that makes no friggin' sense. He's one of the reasons why the defense started getting better. Why limit him? Just as crazy as having Hughes drop in coverage.
  12. Primetime games are a major impediment to the Bills. So are the Patriots. This one doesn't look pretty, unfortunately. Maybe with Josh it would have had a little more intrigue, but Derek ain't winning this one.
  13. I live in Houston and many of my friends asked if I was going to the game. No; too much money, too much emotional stress and far too predictable an ending. I'm not sure when I'll be going again. Took my son to his first Bills game last year against the Patriots. Ouch.
