Josh was pissed about that in his presser. It made ZERO sense. If the refs had called a good  game the Bills probably at still lose but I’m sure it would’ve been a last minute 3 point type of game

When you find yourself agreeing with Cockinmouth, you bet. He was arguing with rules dork too!

Non call on the Davis facemask cost us 4 points. Intentional grounding cost us 3 points. That makes it 24-24 (wouldn't go for 2 in that case) just based on those two calls alone.

That's not even counting the bogus RTP that resulted in the Bengals' second TD or the non call on the slide tackle. Those two together are at least one more score in point differential.

The catch that was ruled not a catch but was actually a catch but was also still a bad challenge despite it actually being a catch.

So yeah, all things being equal we win that game.

Herbert was more egregious there throwing the out when the receiver whipped in

honestly if I were McDermott I’d have been bordering on ejected after that call

the finger point is the rule. You don’t get to celebrate towards an opponent like that. Tyreeks seen that flag, for instance.

the trip sucked but real time and weird angles - whatever.

the grounding was the strangest call I can recall. It was calling a ticky tack and non obvious PI on a Hail Mary for instance.

Not when he did it against us. Wait. Is there a pattern here?

  3. They show this stat every game and fail to mention he also has the most TDs of any player in the league in that time. He has also been our most productive running back in that span so he'll have more fumbles on his stat sheet than most QBs just on sheer volume.

This year, he has one more interception than Hurts and Mahomes and more TDs than either of them.

  4. We might have won all of our games this year (except maybe Week 1) if they were 5 quarters. The problem is that we're going into these games completely unprepared for the opponent. First halves, and especially first drives, have been an absolute disaster on both sides of the ball. Credit to the coaches for always making good adjustments during the game, butb it's more of a discredit to them for putting us in deep holes we can't climb out of.

We’re making joe burrow look like Mac jones…versus us

This defense without 3 of its best players is containing one of the best offenses in the league while the offense keeps turning over the ball and punting from their own red zone. They know the offense isn't going to help them but they're still playing tough. I appreciate what they're doing here.

Is it just me or did it appear that ball was still moving as he went out of bounds.

Should they challange the catch? Ball moved when is was out of bounds.

Definitely not a catch, but definitely not worth reviewing. It's been made perfectly clear who will get the calls tonight.

Kincaid has almost fumbled a few times already today. That was a matter of time.

    Brutal.

Cincy has average TEs off the street dominating us and our 1st round best hands around TE can't hang on to the ***** ball

Yeah that's what happens when one coordinator makes it easy on his players and the other expects them to make extraordinary plays to bail him out.

So where was our defense when it mattered? Letting them score on us at will?

If this is not on defense than why do they have 21 and likely to go up another TD or more?

It matters all game. The defense doesn't look pretty most of the time, but they've done their job every game this season. Offense has to be able to score points. Or at the very least, stop giving up short fields to the other team.

But there’s a bunch of homers in here who think the Bills are losing tonight because the refs are screwing them over. 🤔😂

Both are true. We play up to our standards on offense, we're in this game. Refs aren't constantly screwing us, we're in this game. Both, and we're probably winning.

But why do we have to play perfectly just to negate the referees? Nobody ever explains that part.

    Right?

I don’t mind the live complaint about this call or that call. But this isn’t a team that’s losing because of flags.

I am not sure if this is the worst ref’ed game today let alone this season. We’ve gotten some very favorable calls the last few years including this one.

When the league throws/doesn’t throw a flag that costs this team a meaningful game like that no call on DPI with the Rams, I’ll be the first one at the league office with my molotov cocktail.

The non call on Davis was just as bad as the one in the Rams game. The non call on the slide tackle was just as bad. The intentional grounding call was way worse considering they threw the flag 30 seconds after the play, talked about it, and rewrote the rule book just to ***** us.

Get your Molotov cocktails ready I guess.

Stop with the endless penalty complaints. Bad calls are part of the game period. Bills are losing on merit. The well paid, or highly drafted defensive players have done nothing! Were are Rousseau, Miller, Epenesa??? The offensive play calling is a mess. This team peaked in 2021. There are too many mediorce players..

No team is perfect. And no team should have to overcome their own problems and the referees. This would be a close game if it were fairly officiated.

Dorsey continuously demonstrates an inability to call a cohesive game plan.

I don't get why cook is phased out of the game so often.

    It's maddening at this point.

Run on first down. Low probability deep throw on 2nd down. Desperation throw to Diggs on 3rd down.

    Sounds pretty cohesive to me!

It requires better play from the spot Dodson was playing.  Those holes in the zone are the lb responsibility.  it's a great defense, just hard to do

Yeah anyone can draw up a great defense if they have the best players on the planet.  When you have average players you need to actually be good at your job to get results.

Running the football is how they pull off a lot of those rpo mesh concepts…if you stop even attempting to run you’re making the passing game less effective.  A lot of these big passing plays are set up because we ran a few times out of the same look earlier in the game

You don't need to run the ball to make RPOs effective. Every team knows the Bills want to run on first down. How easy is it to game plan against us when they know exactly which plays we're going to run on every down? We have to stop being so predictable.
