  1. Especially considering the injuries. I'll take it. Even though we could have easily been 5-1, I'll take it.
  2. Have there ever been so many phantom personal fouls against one team in the history of football? ***** the refs. Go Bills
  3. I mean we're dominating this game but it's hard to play when they're handing the Jets 15 yards every time we touch their players.
  4. This game is so unbelievably fixed.
  5. Maybe when it happens once it might be on the players. This kind of garbage happens constantly. At some point you have to look at the common denominator.
  6. It's almost all on Brady. And the rest on McDermott. If you run every 1st down, you are giving the defense an advantage on every single sequence. First 3 games, lots of pre-snap motion. Next 2 games, very little pre-snap motion. One of the best TE tandems in the league? Ignore them, scheme up deep throws to Mack Hollins. The sequence at the end of the Houston game to give them the ball back and let them kick a FG? I mean, talk about a coaching blunder that only the author of "13 seconds" could have concocted. Don't tell me about a lack of talent at WR. Yeah, it can cover up bad coaching (see: Bengals) but you don't need it (see: Chiefs). We have a coaching staff that will announce their identity and never deviate. When is the last time you ever saw McDermott tailor his game plan to the opponent? He has his scheme and it works most of the time, but he'll never minimize his opponents' strengths or attack their weaknesses. It was the same with Dorsey and it's the same with Brady. Reid and Spagnuolo are the best because they tailor every single game for their opponent. Just like Belichick and Brady did. Most coaches, including ours, just don't have the capacity for it.
  7. The Lions keeping Goff in that game past halftime is malpractice and they'll be hearing from my fantasy team's lawyer.
  8. The second paragraph debunks the first. To whom do you think Josh is passing the ball? Shakir just set a record for most consecutive targets caught. Cook won AFC player of the week. The offensive line is the best Josh has ever had. We have the best tight end duo in the league. Our rookie wide receiver makes spectacular contested catches. We lost to Baltimore because we were missing arguably our three best defenders and McDermott did absolutely nothing to mitigate the Ravens' run game and Joe Brady called a terrible game. Not because of anything the GM did.
  9. Yeah that's what I saw as well. Dawkins got cooked and it blew up the whole play. Not giving Brady any excuses though. The blocking scheme on that play was terrible. Whoever was lined up to the left of Dawkins pulled to the right side and basically rubbed Dawkins out of position to block the edge.
  10. Maybe you can enlighten us about the Ravens' defensive formations. That would probably increase the quality of the thread and better inform us.
  11. Yep McDermott is very proud of his system that can shut down most passing schemes. He's even shut down Henry before. But when his scheme isn't catered to his opponent or they start doing something different than he expected, he has almost no ability to adapt.
  12. They have a better catch percentage and YAC than any WR group has ever had while Allen was QB. Shakir literally had a 100% catch rate until tonight (and he's still 18/19). Like I don't even know what you're arguing here. Numbers are numbers.
  13. Exactly. The Ravens were never going to beat us through the air. Everyone knew it, including the Ravens. So they did the opposite. A completely predictable and preventable game plan. We just didn't prepare for the most obvious thing, and that was apparent from the very first play they ran. The Bills' coaching staff is too proud of their system to predict an 80-yard TD run even though everyone else knew it was coming.
  14. Yep we were always a bad matchup for the Ravens because we never come out of nickel and that's exactly what the Ravens want to see. Would have been nice to see a defensive game plan that actually catered to our opponent instead of the same exact crap that got us blown out the last time we faced a team with the same identity.
  15. Everybody? EVERYBODY?! The world would be so much better without hyperbole. Don't be so dense. Brady had good game plans against bad defenses. He had a garbage game plan against a good defense. If he learns anything from this game we'll be fine. If he doesn't, we probably won't get any further than we've been before Apparently an NFL defensive coordinator doesn't pick up on such simple concepts.
  16. What? Yeah, some players become starters when others retire. That's how sports work. Hamlin maybe doesn't start without an injury but Rapp was always going to be our starting safety. Epenesa is a rotational player and always has been. Most other teams don't have better starters than what we put on the field tonight. We just had an unbelievably bad game plan on both sides of the ball.
  17. This was a coaching loss (big surprise). This WR group is the best at catching the ball and the best at gaining yards after the catch than we've ever had. Not even a debate.
  18. Those are all NFL-quality starters. You are comparing them to All-Pros like Milano and Johnson. Only the Bills' coaching staff needs All-Pros at multiple positions to do things like-- oh I don't know-- preventing old, slow ass Derrick Henry from running 90 yards for a TD. Well yeah if you beat the team that won the Super Bowl then you probably win the Super Bowl...
  19. And the Chiefs were not good last year. If we didn't have the most injuries on defense in the entire league or had a halfway decent game plan in the playoffs we would have won the Super Bowl pretty easily last year.
  20. Getting beat 35-10 with our roster is crazy. You could completely remove all our coaches from the game and do better than that. They clearly had no plan for Henry and no plan on to take advantage of the Ravens' weak underneath coverage. Kincaid and Shakir should have had 100+ yards each this game. They barely got that total together. This is not rocket science. The less stupid team usually wins. Unfortunately we are very stupid in important games.
  21. They got beat by the Raiders. They are not a good team.
  22. I don't disagree with that. I think 11-6 is generous with this coaching staff. Allen probably would have won the last 4 Super Bowls with Reid & Spagnuolo.
  23. Just another game we should have won easily and got destroyed by bad coaching. The Ravens got beat by the Raiders. They are nowhere near our talent level. This should have been a cake walk. Instead we got embarrassed.
  24. Yeesh. Outcoached by a wide margin in the first half. Let's hope we continue the trend of the Ravens choking the game away. Otherwise this has been embarrassing.
