  1. I think he's been good, but not great. His game planning leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the time it feels like he's throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks. He does get credit for leaning into plays that are effective and that has helped us become one of the best second half teams in the league. But it often results in clunky starts and early deficits. Kincaid and Knox don't seem to be part of any game plan. He calls a balanced game but that can also lead to predictability. The run game has been great but he has the benefit of a great offensive line as well as one of the best OL coaches in the league. His passing schemes aren't impressive. Receivers are rarely schemed open and most of the time the OL holds up long enough for receivers to create their own space or for Allen to scramble and make an insane pinpoint throw. One of Dorsey's best qualities was his mesh concepts which seem to have mostly vanished. The screen game has been much better than in the past so I definitely like that. So yeah, I mostly love our offense and Brady is the guy in charge so I like the guy. He also needs to evolve in a few areas if he's ever going to be one of the great offensive minds.
  2. Brady doesn't seem interested in scheming anyone open. Every pass play looks like backyard football.
  3. Brady is calling a terrible game so far.
  4. Three games in a row where the defense is completely unprepared for their opponent. Goodbye Super Bowl aspirations.
  5. Not that crazy when his receivers consistently have 5 yards of separation in the endzone. And when the Ravens consistently throw the ball on goal-to-go situations instead of running it.
  6. It's exactly what we think.
  7. You keep saying things that are the defense's or special team's fault and then blaming them on Allen. He missed a 50 yard throw by about a foot, dude.
  8. Allen should just score a TD every drive and then we'd win every game!
  9. Accepting the penalty there is crazy. Let them attempt a FG and then go get a TD and win. Now we're just wasting time.
  10. Definitely gave up. He could have made the tackle easily if he had actually followed Mahomes.
  11. Couple obvious pick plays, hands to the face on the Chiefs' OL all night long. Typical holding on offense and defense. Missed facemask that everyone watching could see from a mile away and the opposite side of the camera. An obvious non-catch that could have turned the game. This was just another horrendous officiating night. The Chiefs will get away with 90% of their penalties and we'll be grateful they called 10%.
  12. If Bass is going to make 86% of his field goals but also 86% of his XPs I'll take it. I won't like it, but I'll take it.
  13. Was there an update on Dion?
  14. There was one play on the last drive where he actually took advantage of that setup and Josh missed it. You can't run an ineffective play all game long just for one play. You don't even know if you'll have the opportunity or if it will work.
  15. Good points. But calling run plays up the middle on 90% of 1st downs when the Chiefs are playing against the run all night trumps all that. That's why I said a better coordinator than play caller. He clearly has these backups ready to go as well as possible, he's just not calling a good game. See: run up the middle on 3rd & 2 that just happened.
  16. Cook has been way too hesitant on these screens. He has the space and tries to juke a defender instead of just gunning it.
  17. Just do it again. KC thinks you won't.
  18. I'm sure the coaches stressed all week to never give up on coverage when Mahomes rolls out. Mahomes didn't even have anywhere to run with our defenders closing in, and Douglas should have been able to see that.
  19. What a horrible play by Douglas. Mahomes had one guy he could throw it to and Douglas isn't even in the area of his man.
  20. Much better coordinator than play caller.
  21. Can we put up a billboard: "stop running on first down 100% of the time"
  22. Let's not get carried away. Chiefs are setting picks, holding on both sides every play, had an uncalled facemask on the final Bills drive of the second half. But at least they haven't completely given the game away, yeah.
  23. That stutter step he uses really puts defenders on skates and then he just scoots around them.
