I think Cook has more 1st down runs for loss than gain. It's actually insane how many times we're 2nd & long. They just don't care about being behind the sticks.

Epenesa!!!

This pass defense is god awful.

Why are you blitzing here of all times. Just protect the 10 yard passes and sidelines.

Allen is playing smart, efficient, technically sound football. He has been just about perfect since week two.
Yeah he's been playing well today despite the results. Bad play calling and a couple drops made him look worse than he actually was.

Why does the clock keep running when josh goes out of bounds?
Before the 2 minute warning the clock always runs. But when they go out of bounds it's supposed to stop until the ball is placed by the ref. Sometimes it doesn't and I don't know why teams just let it go when they're driving to score.

When you are battling pressure these long developing routes are idiotic
Dorsey doesn't have anything else in his playbook.

Really need a double dip here. Wake up, fellas.

Dorsey didn't like what was working the past 3 weeks. Went back to the Week 1 game plan.

He's a starting TE with 15 receptions after 4 games. That's contribution. He's clearly not contributing to your liking, but don't frame it like he's some undressed player getting third team reps.
I didn't frame it like that. If that's the standard you are using, then yeah I guess it's a rousing success so far. Congrats!

Players aren’t defined after 4 games. 66 catches for 450 yards as a rookie TE while helping the run game and pushes us closer to the Super Bowl is a good thing. Guy has talent in spades, he isn’t a top 4 target most plays. The most impressive thing from him right now, he isn’t dropping targets.
laporta is having a good start to his career, let’s see where the players and teams are at by the end of the season
Yeah I like Kincaid a lot. He's a very good player. It's a usage issue, not a talent issue.

Don't be so obtuse.

The Bills may be planning on him being part of the team for years to come. Seems fairly stupid to build your draft strategy around what you plan to do the first four games of the following season.
1st round picks are for immediate contributors. Draft your role players on day 2 and your projects on day 3.
Use your logic for Elam and then come tell me that was a good pick as well.

Can the Chiefs win a single close game without the refs handing it to them on the last drive?
Patriots all over again.

the dolphins have a lot of money in that defense. Holland and Howard (and Ramsey) in secondary, and Wilkins, siler, Davis, and Chubb up front. If Fangio can’t work with that group, they are in trouble.Yeah their line is good. That's why I specified the secondary. I should have also specified LB since we are far more talented there as well.

On pace for 63 catches and 420 yards. The expectations for him were way too high. The Travis Kelce comparisons were ignorant.
He is a good player that adds a nice element to the team. Not sure what people wanted for a late 1st round pick. He is doing just fine.
The expectations were about what LaPorta has been showing. I'm not going to argue with today's performance, but it's not unreasonable to think that a first round draft pick on one of the best offenses in the league would be outpacing a second round pick on a slightly above average offense.
If they were going to use him like a day 2 pick, they should gotten a TE on day 2.

To think, I wanted Fangio. He is even more passive than Frazier.
Fangio doesn't have the luxury of all pros at nearly every position either. Holland is about the only player in the secondary worth accounting for.

Yeah, he looked just fine in a couple series after Tre went out.
Won't likely be playing a real physical brand of football the next couple weeks though, I'm guessing.
Well as long as he's not out for the season again that's good news. He's been balling out when on the field.

Benford is really showing out, too.
Yeah I love what Benford has shown. Did he come back in the game after his injury? I haven't seen any updates on him.

They'll sign someone for depth, but a 1st round draft pick should suffice as a starter for now. Dane Jackson is also not a scrub.

Neither Ed's or Leonard's feet were offside. What is the rule? Is it the helmet crossing the LOS?
It's really strange because obviously the refs will try to keep Miami in the game but it's way too late at that point.

You mean like all those other times when it did?
Give it a rest bud. If there was one flaw in today's game, it was the 1st down rush efficiency. Stop trying to tell me it's okay to have as many 2nd & longs as we did today.

another 1st down Cook run for 4 yards...huh.
Love to see it. Would love it even more if it happened before garbage time.

You were noticeably silent on the previous one that went for 4 or 5 yards.
What's your point? That we should keep putting ourselves in 2nd & long because we get the bare minimum success once in a while?

That's what happens when Dorsey has 2 receivers going to the same spot and everyone's routes take about half a quarter to develop.
