Some of the worst offenses in football not marching up and down the field in back to back to back weeks.  They blew contain on a screen pass for big yardage the first play when the bucs took over after the int lol. It’s just a guaranteed td when a bad opposing offense hits the 23? Something is very wrong with your defense if that’s the case

The Bucs have 1 TD than they only got because we turned the ball over on our own 25 yard line.

They really have to clean up the missed tackles, but they haven't been our biggest problem recently.

He tried to throw it to Kincaid…..go take a bathroom break 🙄

Give me a break. The defender was right in front of him. Throw it the other direction, take the sack, or try to evade the rusher. Don't throw it right at him.

Josh isn't perfect, guys. He does make mistakes.

Ball got tipped…..what are you talking about?

It got tipped by the defender he threw the ball directly at. What are you talking about?

He also failed to identify the free rusher there. So two mistakes by Josh on that one play. That's not just bad luck.

I don’t think Dodson is better by any metric. Dorian looked like he was all over the field flying to the ball. Not sure what he did that was so egregious that he was benched for Dodson.

He missed several assignments last week that led to big plays for New England. Dodson won't make the big plays, but he can at least limit them for the other team.

Say what you want, but we are dominating this game and we are one Dorsey bad call and one random fluke play from 24-3 or something.

This is the NFL. There is always a small margin between domination and suck. One or two bad play calls or execution misfires can make the difference. That's why we need Dorsey to get his head out of his ass on the goal line and Josh to not throw the ball right at defenders.

Williams didn't play as bad as I initially thought. He was misaligned a couple times. Didn't fit correctly or was slow to fit on the split zone the Patriots ran a few times, but the thing that got him benched was giving up the big pass to Bourne on mesh. He had a bust in every series.

Because we essentially rushed 3 all day. Settle added absolutely nothing to the pass rush and often times automatically played as a low box player not even attempting to win a rush. Hard to get home when it's 3 v 6.

We rushed 4 on 84% of defensive snaps. Couldn't find any blitz stats yet but I'm pretty sure we were way above our season average. Still couldn't get pressure and Mac had all day to sit back and find the open guys.

I mean, they did score 25. That should be enough against one of the worst offenses in the league.

The defense is missing its top 3 players at all different levels of the field for the year as well as other key players temporarily. They get some grace from me, especially when the offense gives the other teams short fields. The offense is completely healthy and looks like they've never played together despite being on Year 4 of continuity.

Do you really think he’s going to call out Dorsey and/or the players in a press conference?  THAT will be the fastest way for him to lose the locker room, not covering for people.  McD is a process guy, so whatever problems they’re having, his foundational belief is that they need to work that much harder this week to fix the issues, versus something he says in a press conference actually fixing the issues.

For instance, the OL has looked horrible recently, so yea he could point that out in a press conference, but it’s going to potentially alienate guys on the team, look to some like he’s deflecting the blame, etc.  The best way to calm the critics will be to start winning again.

There's a lot of space between "I have no idea what I'm doing" and "it's everyone else's fault." They're both equally bad. He could have said anything and he chose one of the two worst responses.

Yeah.  I'm keeping up.  The Chiefs have a better coach and a better roster.  Therefore 2 - 0.

I think our rosters are pretty evenly matched but yeah coaching is clearly in different tiers. No matter how you slice it, though, we have clearly underperformed compared to the Chiefs against common opponents. That was all I was trying to get through the other poster's thick skull.

  10. Flying to London on Friday and keeping your players awake all day before a game on Sunday was a much bigger issue than the game location. And it might have also contributed to season ending injuries for two of our best defenders.

Teams that get to London early always look sharper than those who think they're being clever by flying late in the week.

  11. Mahomes only runs on scrambles though. It's not like he gets designed runs. His offensive line is just so good that he has 5 seconds to throw the ball or he can run through a wide open hole.

Josh still scrambles, but he usually has to break two tackles before the line of scrimmage.

But I do agree they need to find a better balance for designed runs that's somewhere between making Josh our best RB and nothing.
