  1. I hope you don't truly believe this. The lengths you go to excuse his stupidity is astounding. He "mangles" things because he's dumb.
  2. I think another receiver gets lost in the shuffle. Your #4 receiver needs to play special teams or they'll be inactive on game day and I don't see any of these big receivers providing that versatility.
  3. DL. Try to find Jerry Hughes successor and another edge rusher option. We need a young DE on the roster who can get after the QB.
  4. "We are looking into it" translates to, this idea is idiotic, but the President said it and I don't want to contradict him and risk getting fired, so I'll go with, "we're looking into it".
  5. I agree. I've said for about 10 years now that the NFL is so flawed because what constitutes a scouting "expert"? Reality is this has been, and in most cases continues to be an old boys club and you get jobs based off who you know, and how much people like you. No one goes to school to learn how to scout players. They might learn stuff along the way from mentors, but the number of blown draft picks, particularly in the top 10 has always been astounding to me. The Bills were in this trap from 2000 to 2017 when Russ Brandon was running the show. A football idiot, with no experience playing the game or scouting, some how buddied his way into an NFL Franchise, became the owner's pet, and within like 10 years was running the show despite horrendous results on the field year after year. Along the way, the Bills were drafting running backs and corner backs seemingly every year, despite never having a top 20 QB, and the results were top 12 picks essentially every year for 15 years. This happens all over the NFL. I think owners get lost in how easy it is to make money in this league, and each year when heads are on the chopping block these con artist GMs tell them to look at the bottom line, which is ultimately all they care about, or can comprehend because ultimately they're all successful business people, and somehow they keep their job for another losing season so that they can blow another first round pick on a player who won't impact their franchise's destiny. It's crazy.
  6. I don't buy this. He's literally making things up, on the spot, as they come into his head. I assure you no medical expert has proposed the idea of disinfecting the inside of someone's lungs, or using ultraviolet light on the inside of someone's body to kill a virus. What Trump said was sheer stupidity.
  7. Sure. On hard surfaces. How's it work on the inside of the lungs?
  8. He didn't have to say, "drink bleach". The notion that you can disinfect someones lungs, do a "cleaning", or that light will kill the virus is beyond stupid. He does not understand science AT ALL.
  9. I think the same applies to a few teams in the top 16 though. The Giants are adding key pieces, I mentioned I like what the Dolphins are doing, maybe Washington although I don't believe Haskins is ever going to be the guy, the Panthers look like they'll be tanking for Lawrence or Fields, the Cardinals are making some good moves. On the other side, the Lions are terrible, the Jags are lost, the Raiders are going nowhere, the Falcons are going nowhere. These teams are just biding their time until their at the bottom of the NFL, cleaning house and hitting the reset button. What's the point in waiting?
  10. Such stupidity. His lack of intelligence is astounding.
  11. The way most NFL teams build their franchises is inherently flawed. If you're a team like Detroit, what are you doing? As you said, what does a CB do to move the needle? Probably not much. If you're in that position, why are you still married to Stafford, and why are you not tearing that thing down, stock piling picks and going after a franchise QB? On the flip side I like where Miami is going. They got their QB, they got a 20 year old LT with enormous upside and they got a corner which was obviously a coveted position last night. They have some pieces and I think they're about to go on a similar path to the one we had when we first drafted Josh.
  12. The Bucs were going up to stop someone else from trading for Wirfs.
  13. What a terrible pick by the Raiders, considering the other options available.
  14. Not really. It's a supply and demand thing. Tons of receivers available, so why prioritize them? Go after the positions that aren't as deep.
  15. The Dolphins are going to walk away from this draft with a franchise QB, LT, WR and RB.
  16. Receiver class is loaded. These guys will get pushed down due to a surplus of options available. Teams will prioritize other positions.
  17. Dumbest thing I've heard since asking if the flu shot would help. The guy in charge is so out to lunch it's scary.
  18. Receiver definitely makes sense.
  19. I think the Pat should tank, but you're right, it's unlikely. My way too early worst teams in the NFL list includes: Carolina, Detroit, Washington, Chargers, Jacksonville.
  20. Yeah, Carolina is definitely gunning for Lawrence or Fields. A few other teams too.
  21. Didn't the Bills have an offensive lineman with political ambition who retired when he was like 26 ten or so years ago?
  22. I agree, they're not there yet, but they're assembling the pieces. Their receivers aren't bad, and they have tons of picks left. If they can walk away with a couple linemen and a running back tomorrow they could be in pretty good shape.
  23. Hey, Tyrod is a good guy, and he played a huge part in the Bills ending the drought. He might not be a great starting NFL QB, but he did a good job for the Bills and seems to be a really good pro.
  24. We're a great comp. They're on the same path, only they got their QB without trading all the other picks they stockpiled. If they nail their 3 first rounders they could be really good by the 2nd half of this year.
  25. I agree. The only thing that worries me is the schedule. The Bills played the cupcake schedule of cupcake schedules last year. This year against the AFC West and NFC West it's going to be a heck of a lot harder than playing a down AFC North and the NFC East (worst division in football). The Bills roster is absolutely loaded. If Josh is the guy, the Bills should have no problem winning 11+ games.
