  1. After 5 games I have no idea what our scouts saw in Zay Jones. He simply looks terrible out there. Jones looks slow and he can't create any separation. He looks like a PS caliber player, and he's currently our #1 guy. The Bills need to make a trade for a WR this week and give them two weeks to learn the offense. The defense is outstanding, and the schedule gets pretty soft in the coming weeks. If Clay is lost for an extended period of time, we can't just plug our nose and hope Jones, Tate and O'Leary are going to get the job done.
  2. They haven't been good at pass blocking this year, and they're about to face one of the best pass rushes in the league on Sunday.
  3. These comments are so out of touch. Trump obviously has no idea what CTE is.
  4. Humans are naturally racist. This is a big reason for why we're naturally so violent.
  5. I think he could be a pretty good backup for us long term. I don't understand why people are so eager to throw him to the wolves and cripple his development.
  6. This isn't true on a wide scale. It might apply to rich people, but I don't think it applies to lower or middle class communities. I recently saw a heat map of Houston's inner city and how they're going to go about rebuilding. Despite most of the inner city being "poor", there were clearly defined neighbourhoods that were dominated by people of a specific race. If what you're saying were true, poor blacks would live with poor whites, and poor hispanics, but that's rarely ever the case across America. Inner city neighbourhoods are often clearly defined by the people who live there.
  7. Not really. If I'm a white guy and I say I want other white people to be more successful than people from other races because they're from my "group", there's a problem.
  8. Totally agree. As soon as you're talking about "groups", it's a racial issue.
  9. It is though. Saying groups compete with each other, and don't want to help other groups is literally the definition of racism. You're different, so I won't help you. You're different, so I don't like you. I want my group to be more successful than your group. This is the definition of racism. You're right in saying that is how society works, which is why Hauschka is pointing out that US society is inherently racist. Your comments confirm what Hauschka is trying to point out.
  10. This is the definition of racism.
  11. Sorry but home life in an inner city is also a mess. Inner cities in general are a mess because there are no jobs, the people have no education, and crime rates are high. The lack of opportunities didn't happen by accident. How did so many minorities wind up living in cities while the rich people live in the suburbs? Luck? LOL
  12. Dareus has been a huge bust since signing his contract. I hope we move him next summer. He's always hurt and generally doesn't make any difference for us when he's on the field. Albert Haynesworth 2.0.
  13. I still fail to see how Peterman is going to do anything to improve our offense by elevating our garbage supporting cast.
  14. Nope. It's wide spread. The US system makes it difficult for minorities to succeed because they lack opportunities. Inner city schools are generally terrible, crime is a problem, and without a good education and an opportunity for a half decent job, poverty is incredibly hard to escape. Lack of opportunity leads to major problems. People are desperate which leads to crime, or in other parts of the world terrorism. The problems across the US are systematic, which is why the same problems exist all over the country. Minorities, and poor people in general are mostly forgotten. The rich couldn't care less about helping them, and in many situations that population would never allow for the poor Black and Hispanic kids to go to school with the rich white kids, which is where the racism factor kicks in. If you want to fix any social problems, it starts with creating economic opportunity for those people.
  15. It's not racist to say African Americans are better football players than any other race because of their genetics. All 8 of the finalists in the men's 100 metre sprint were African American in 2016. Same reason. It's genetics, and saying it's genetics isn't racist unless you don't understand the definition of racism.
  16. He's saying there's racism in America on a wide scale, which is undeniable.
  17. This post is a mess.
  18. Nope. It clearly wasn't...
  19. My thoughts exactly. The game ultimately meant nothing. It was a great performance by our defense and a learning experience for our rookie WR. Getting the win in my eyes is less important than giving ourselves the best shot possible at a top QB next draft.
  20. The ball was out as soon as Zay cut. His cut being towards the sideline as opposed to up the field to the pylon was the reason the throw looked bad. Taylor's job is to read the defense and throw to wear the receiver is supposed to be. In this case, his rookie receiver made a rookie mistake by running a terrible route, and the result was an incomplete pass. Anyone trying to assign blame to Tyrod isn't being objective.
  21. He did not run the route as it was intended. Donald Jones, a former NFL receiver spent a lot of time on Monday breaking down what the receiver is supposed to do, and Zay did it all wrong. Taylor threw the ball exactly where he was supposed to, given the location of the safety.
  22. Donald Jones broke the play down on Monday. It was entirely Zay Jones' fault. He was supposed to read the safety and push vertically up the field, that way if the safety breaks on the ball, he can shield him with his back and give the QB and alley to throw the ball into between him and the sideline. It's easier to round the route off after the ball is in the air, rather than readjust up the field after the throw. Jones said it was a rookie mistake by a rookie receiver, but in no way did he think any blame should be put on Taylor. He threw the ball exactly where it needed to be if Jones ran a proper route and it would have been an easy TD.
  23. Our defense has good players. Our offense doesn't. We can't switch things up on offense because we don't have any difference makers on that side of the ball. Our receivers are slow possession guys who struggle to create separation. The talent on offense simply isn't good enough. Donald Jones broke down the route concept on Monday's radio show. He clearly outlined why Zay Jones is entirely to blame for that missed play.
  24. Everyone knew the Bills' offense was going to be terrible this year. I imagine it's pretty hard for the radio guys to come up with creative things to talk about when the obvious problem is that our players just aren't good enough. Anyone who is surprised by our offense, or actually thought the Bills might make the postseason is just a huge homer. They weren't looking at things objectively.
