It's a mistake. Crap happens. Rob--thank you for your answer. As a follow-up, do you think it's a problem that people go chasing outlets that reflect their whims? I ask because I watch almost no TV news except when there's a true breaking story (the election results last week is the first time I can recall watching the news in years). I was switching between Fox and CNN, and preferred Fox's coverage for the most part, but did think CNN did better with their country wall of data (my personal opinion there is an aside). But here's my query: We have the competing outlets, many feeding the far extremes: MSNBC on one end, OAN/NewsMax on the others, with varying degrees in the middle. And now the new feeder of Twitter, which democratizes the news for better (rarely) and worse (often). What are your thoughts about how to avoid the social media/news media echo chambers? My true concern, off topic from this thread's topic, is that the algorithms and machines are getting really good at making us see what we agree with, and in so doing, we are less inclined to do any listening to the other side, whoever they are. You can see it here, where your lot, mostly in an echo chamber at PPP, went off and formed a deeper echo chamber. But that's happening everywhere.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
shoshin replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Not to sound like the dearly departed friends, but you're insane. No one has tried an education and community building campaign from the top. No one. -
Does it concern you at all that the voice Republicans used to believe and listen to (FOXNews), became the enemy once they reported news that its viewers didn't want to hear, so they just found other "news" sources? I mean this sincerely since most your type ran away from dissenting voices.

The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
shoshin replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Jesus wept no. The way to proceed is through education about the pandemic, discussion of how to best protect people, and getting actual buy in. We should not be frigging jailing non-mask wearers FFS. -
Were Democrats sore losers after the 2016 election?
shoshin replied to Westside's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No doubt. Two wrongs don’t make this right. And last election, Clinton conceded the next day. Obama had Trump to the White House. And the election was closer. -

Clinton conceded the next day. Obama had Trump to the White House 2 days after the election. And Clinton’s loss was closer than this one. Dems lost their minds. The leaders did the tight thing and put country first. Through gritted teeth. But they did it. -

They hated him, but they also acknowledged his win. Hillary conceded even though her margin was much closer than Trump's. Obama had him to the White House 2 days after Election Day. He started getting his briefings right away. So yes, the left melted down and it continued to today. But they also respected the election result. As it happens, only one candidate said the 2016 election was fraudulent: Donald J. Trump, who said that he won the popular vote and that 3-5 million of Hillary's votes were fraudulent. So confident was he, he formed a commission. That found, wait for it, no fraudulent votes. Wah, wah, waaaaah. -
Holy christ you're a fun troll account! Good on ya!

Is there a secret case that's been filed somewhere with the proof of tens of thousands of votes fraudulently cast then? I feel like that would be big news, not a secret.

Is there a lawsuit anywhere with tens of thousands of votes being requested to be overturned and change the result of the election yet? Waiting...

That's some source. There is no mandatory recount at 0.5% in all of those states. Completely inaccurate. AZ only does a mandatory recount at less than 0.1%. Right now it's at 0.4% PA does a recount at 0.5%. It's at 0.7%. NV is at 2.7%, don't know its laws because...who cares, it's not even close enough to be in any conversation. MI is at 2.5%, don't know its laws because...who cares, it's not even close enough to be in any conversation. GA will do a recount. WI will seemingly also do a recount if Trump requests and donors (suckers) pay for it. Still waiting to see the evidence of hundreds of thousands of fraudulent votes from 2020. I expect to wait about as long as I've been waiting to see the millions of votes he said were fraudulently cast for Hillary.

A college degree is only a sign of schooling, not judgment or compassion.
