Casey Toohill! For all the folks who said "Who???"
1 or 2 sacks? Fumble recovery? I haven't seen the stats, but he was good out there.

I really enjoyed having Sunday Ticket today. Geno Smith & Seahags D whipping the Dolphins, knocking out the Fish QB. In comes Tim Boyle. I wonder if the Fish will poach Mike White from our practice squad.
I don't like either team, but love to see the Cowboys getting their asses handed to them by Ravens. Occasional shots of Jerrah with a headache. Cows came back, made a game of it, only lost by 3.
Who had Carolina over the Raiders? Anybody? Not bloody likely.
Saints D stepped on their dick and let the Eagles win. Shameful letdown from Saints.
Giants win - holy cow.
Rams over 49ers. Impressive.
Doesn't anybody bet on WHO WINS THE **** GAME ANYMORE??? All this over/under stuff is boring. I miss the old football pools at work, although I do not miss working.

I'm still waiting for that elite defense they were saying all morning that the cowboys have
The announcers excused Cowboys D by saying Saints were doing too much fancy motion. LOL

. And the way they handled his injuries in '22, clearly putting him back on the field too early was evil. I'm not even sure how that could have played out, considering the concussion protocols in place at the time, but we all saw it happen. Seeing McDaniel kiss Tua on the side of his head, as he was walking off the field for the last time in his career filled me with a quiet rage.

One penalty for the Bills. Spencer Brown false start when the defense was jumping around.
Waddle sure looked disinterested sitting on the bench. Hill seemed concerned, at least.
I couldn’t help watching the game again last night!

A funny thing happened in a recent CFL game. Among a cluster of green helmets, one special teams guy wore a guardian cap, but it was black.
From the far away camera angle, it looked like a guy with a giant afro and no helmet.
Odd that they didn't have a green one for him.

I once worked for a Mr Yang, who fired my coworker Mr Yin.
They just did not get along.

Like it was said before, it’s the worst part of pet ownership.
When our foodmonger dog would not get up for breakfast, we knew it was time.
A sad day to endure, for sure. May your family find peace when it is over.

If I hear that terrible influence name during the season again this year, I’m done with the nfl. It’s that ridiculous.
Hey Trev, why not just stop watching Chiefs games?
Save yourself the aggravation.
Of course, you will still see Chiefs selling insurance, shampoo, and other stuff during any game.

Horrible story. When I read stuff like this I’m reminded life as precious no matter how much it can feel like it sucks at times.
And yeah Jersey drivers are the worst.
I mean assuming this guy Sean has some decency in him he’s got to live with himself the rest of his life.
That should be punishment enough.
No, jail time for the drunk driver should be punishment enough.

And while we ponder that, whatever did happen to Christian Wade?! 😢
Christian is still waiting for his blockers to get BEHIND him, like in rugby.

Too bad they didn't try Deon Cain as a return man. He did that pretty well in the spring league.
I'm not sure why Cain was signed so late in TC. He looked good at WR against Carolina.

I'll see your CJ Ah-You and raise you a Chidi Ahanotu....
Carolina had a guy named DiCaprio Bootle. I thought that was a real classic among the unusual names.

Not quite the same, but I lost my sense of smell due to a case of atypical shingles 8 yrs ago. Atypical means it affects your head, not your torso.
I just regained it 4 months ago.
I also had neurological damage to my left ear, which persists.

If the Bills were in the CFL this would happen to them:
This was a great game. Lauther missed 4 field goals, one returned for a TD.
The announcers said the kicker’s bad night made a 19 point swing in the score. Yikes.

I post updates to let people know not to fear getting treated. Last fall I was worrying about how my life would be when it came time for dialysis and/or trasplant. I didn't have to do dialysis pre-transplant, but if you are retired or already laid up it just means being stuck in one place for ~3 hours at a time . Kidney disease doesn't have many severe symptoms at first but it is gradual and can sneak up on you. What has happened to me after transplant the docs have seen many times and are ready for it. They know what they are doing. Last year at ECMC, they did about 140 transplants and maybe 60-70 (including me) this year so far.
10 years ago this coming Tuesday, I was in the ICU with a stroke caused by high BP. My BP was 245/70 something. I should have died that day. That damage eventually led to me needing the transplant 10 years later. This past 10 years has all been bonus time. The transplant has given me even more bonus time. I'm on the PPP board a lot and nothing anyone can say bothers me. There are more important things such as your and your family's health and well being.
Happy to hear you are recovering. Got to keep this life thing going!

Lol and apparently the Army determined the campaign lost them 38 enlistments, somehow…
A nice feature of the UFL was the introduction of locally stationed Army personnel at each game. They would chat with a soldier or two at each game.
As an Army veteran, I thought that was very cool.

What Meltdown? Southwest Flew On Time All Day
From the Forbes article:
"
A story on the website govtech.com on Friday asked the question, “Why isn’t Southwest affected by the CrowdStrike/Microsoft outage?
“That’s because major portions of the airline’s computer systems are still using Windows 3.1, a 32-year-old version of Microsoft’s computer operating software,” the website said. “It’s so old that the CrowdStrike issue doesn’t affect it so Southwest is still operating as normal. It’s typically not a good idea to wait so long to update, but in this one instance Southwest has done itself a favor.”

I saw John Mayall at UB on The Turning Point tour.
After so many years of Bluesbreakers variations, this band had no drummer!
4 piece band with acoustic guitar, electric bass, sax/flute, and Mayall.
An incredible sound, and a great show.
Rest in peace.

Southwest Airlines was up and running, unaffected by the Crowdstrike outage.
Why? Because they were using Windows 3.1 which was not affected by the outage. Yes, a 30+ year old version of Windows.
I thought that was hilarious.
Give some love to the big guys up front

The announcers mentioned that Buffalo had the best O Line in the league.
I thought I heard that. Anyone else hear that comment?
Beane has built us a great O-Line!
Now we see where Mitch Morse went - to Jax.
