If we've seen significant improvement, why hasn't the passing game also seen "significant" improvement? The Bills passing game, after adding 4 new O-linemen, 2 new receivers, and being a major focus of improvement still at the bottom of the NFL in overall passing? 2018: 31st in passing yards 2019: 28th in passing yards.

The Bills should re-sign Shaq and J. Phillips

Maybe, and he was non-existent the prior 3 years as a 1st round pick. PASS on him PLZ. -
Where do you feel he has specifically improved from year 1 to year 2? I am asking for your view or perception, because although I am seeing SOME improvement, there is no huge leap that is apparent: he is taking fewer BIG hits. o he was sacked 28 X last year, and already he has been sacked 34 X this year. o he is on pace for about the same number of INTS. o fumbling remains an issue. o Pct % completion has gone up, but still below 60 %. o passing games was 31st in league last year, 27th in league this year.

He doesn't really fumble it as much as he DROPS it sometimes....

Josh Allen - week FIFTEEN report card

The Bills are 28 in the league is passing yards/game - I suppose this has nothing to do with Josh Allen... He's missing guys on easy throws that are wide open. -

Josh Allen was horrible again - he was not the reason for the win - Devlin Hodges was let's just be serious. It's both scary and painful to watch him throw sometimes. He could have easily had two more fumbles - got lucky I guess. He had a NUMBER of bad throws, and simply can't place the ball where needed many times even on the more simple of attempts. Buffalo won last night on the strength of the Defense and some good hard running, and 4 or 5 turnovers from the Steelers. GO BILLS. -
I agree, however these things have been an issue all year long, pretty much.

Game Plan Against Dallas (#6 Defense, #1 Offense)

If I read you right, I also think the Dallas O line is going to be dominant. -

Nice write-up. Thank you. o If the Bills win, to me, it would show they are a viable wild-card playoff team and must be respected. or o Is the Bills lose or get trounced, like by the Eagles, it will show they are not ready and simply benefactors of a weak schedule and favorable match-ups. They have also been VERY healthy this year I think, and have lost very few starters to IR or starter games lost. We will see: I'm personally pretty nervous. Go BILLS -
Can the Detractors Now Admit Allen's Growth?
Socal-805 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Admit to his growth? Against Miami? Yes. Let's see how he does against some real NFL team, not just the tanking Dophins please. 13 Nov 28 BUF @ DAL AT&T Stadium 4:30 PM Tickets CBS 14 Dec 08 BAL @ BUF New Era Field 1:00 PM Tickets CBS 15 Dec 15 BUF @ PIT Heinz Field 1:00 PM Tickets CBS 16 Dec 21 BUF @ NE Gillette Stadium 4:30 PM Tickets NFLN I do hope he is improving - seriously. Go Bills. -
Fair enough. I am just tired of seeing the Bills throw the ball when Allen is poor - IMO. They threw 41 times again Cleveland and had 14 run plays NOT by Allen. If Daboll can't figure this out, he and Josh Allen will be "throwing" the Bills right out of the playoffs. And McD. will be searching for his 3rd O.C. in 4 years.

ATTEMPTING to throw the ball is not an identity, it's wishful thinking. Attacking a match-up you cannot exploit is foolish. They are 23rd in the league in yards: http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=2&statisticCategory=GAME_STATS&conference=ALL&role=TM&season=2019&seasonType=REG They are 25th in the league in points: http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?archive=false&conference=null&role=TM&offensiveStatisticCategory=SCORING&defensiveStatisticCategory=null&season=2019&seasonType=REG&tabSeq=2&qualified=false&Submit=Go That is who they are.
