The Bills need another DT. Williams and McCargo are givens in the rotation. Tripplett should be there as well because we have committed to him. We need a 4th DT, though.

The case for/against Jarrett boils down to one thing: How many opportunities do you think the Bills will have to improve their o-line? Their d-line? Their linebacking corps? If, like me, you believe the Bills are a small market team that won't be able to compete in free agency, they better start using premium draft picks to get some big guys on the team. I'm sure we won't be shutout in free agency altogether, but what kind of players are we going to get? Did Tripplett help at all with run defense? Was he even all that good rushing the passer to justify his signing? Was Fowler any more than just adequate at times -- did he help the runblocking much? Was Tutan Reyes not a complete waste? This first round draft pick will be one of the Bills' few opportunities to improve their ability to stop the run or run the ball themselves.

Get over it. Whether he eluded some sacks or not, he also got himself into trouble by holding the ball too long on several downs against a Ravens defense that everyone in the world knows you have to get the ball out quickly against. More importantly, he sprayed the ball all over the place yesterday, which you haven't addressed. Sure, the running game sucked and he didn't get any help, but on the downs where he had a chance to make plays, he screwed up an unacceptable percentage of the time. Even the bomb to Evans hung up there and he was lucky the safety didn't get back in time. I don't expect perfection but the kid had a bad game. Not a big deal.

Kinda depends what happens in free agency. I would think anything but QB, RB, S, DE, K, P is possible.
