South should never have been the underdog at home. I'm sure Chan was in his players' ears all week using it as motivation. Man, I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in his pre-game speech. South came out and whupped some butt in the first half!

Yeah, as I predicted in the other thread, Chan was just playing rope-a-dope all week. Did you hear Chan mention that player staying up all night to study film? I believe I said something along those lines as well ---------------- I was about to give McElroy credit for recognizing the offsides and throwing deep but then I saw him walking off the field with his head down. So he DIDN'T see the offsides but instead just threw a terrible pass. South o-line getting dominated on this drive. Just hoping to get a FG out of this. ---------------- But great screen call by Chan gets a first and goal! Not sure how we're going to punch this in, though ---------------------- Mayock just said that the team with 1 first-rounder is dominating the team with 7-8 first-rounders. Go Chan!

No, that comment was regarding the first drive that ended in a FG. Ponder played well on the TD drive. McElroy didn't look too good on his first drive. Hopefully like Ponder he heats up on his second drive.

Ponder looked much better on that drive. Great job looking right and throwing back to his left to Hankerson for that TD. Great anticipation on that route, too. Unfortunate that Chan has to pull Ponder just as he was getting on a roll. Hopefully McElroy and Dalton can keep the ball rolling

Don't worry guys. Chan is just being smart and playing some rope-a-dope. Remember, this is the only football game of the year where a television network can record your practices all week. I think it's safe to say that Chan is being smart and keeping some things in the bag until gameday. This is a major revenge spot for Marvin Lewis after getting embarrassed at home by the Bills during the NFL season. If Chan can pull off this win, I'll have more confidence in him as a coach.

If you watched the Tim Tebow special on ESPN (it was called like "Everything In Between"), the Bills absolutely was interested in Tebow. It was between Denver and the Bills, and Denver traded up to secure him.

Maybin ran a slow 40 and short shuttle at the combine. He's basically a speed rusher with no speed. Should never have gotten drafted that high. No speed, and gets overpowered. Basically worthless. Immature, somebody who hit the jackpot and stopped working. Doesn't study film and parties instead. Evenings are about whores and cocaine. Will never play in another NFL game once the Bills cut him.

It's hard to tip your hand when no team will believe you anyway. The NFL is a league of deception and no team trusts any other team. You could lay out your plan with 100% veracity and other teams would still have to consider that you may do something else. But yes, I do tend to believe that Nix is being straightforward.
