  1. I could see that happening, too, but remember the Pats were embarrassed by Cleveland midway through the season last year and then didn't lose a game again until the playoffs. They typically have some bounce-back in them.
  2. Suck for Luck is actually smarter than what the Bills are doing. If Miami gets Luck and the Bills miss the playoffs, the Dolphins win. (They actually win regardless if they can get Luck but at least we'd have something to be happy about, too). If the Dolphins barely miss out on Luck, that'd be a hilarious failure, though. Time will tell. Luck will win a Super Bowl before the Bills do, but there was no point in rooting for Luck past the Game 1 demolition of the Chiefs.
  3. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/N/norwosco01.htm Eh. Besides the '88 season, he was very shaky as a kicker and always made me nervous.
  4. 47-yard field goals are not gimmes. I never really blamed Norwood. I mean, he sucked as a kicker and I was so glad when we signed Christie, but I mostly blamed a defense that couldn't get off the field, some bad luck, and perhaps not enough touches for Thurman.
  5. Another example of the Law of Unintended Consequences. If the U.S. didn't crack down so hard on underaged 'nography, American men would have something to look at and no need to stalk underaged girls in the real world. If you want to blame somebody, point at finger at the government, not Sanchez.
  6. FO has us at #2 behind GB: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teameff those are my favorite rankings
  7. I'm worried about them. They could definitely take our playoff spot at the end. Bills gotta keep winning games. Might need 11.
  8. Freddy. We need a big game rushing the ball and success with the screen game. That's the biggest factor. Fitz will need to be patient and not force the ball into blanketed receivers. This game might be low-scoring and there's nothing wrong with a punt.
  9. I agree. It's clear Fred Jackson is a cancer to this football team
  10. I've been rooting for Miami all season either because I wanted their opponent to lose or I don't want them to get Luck. It's important. Luck > Marino
  11. I'm gonna go out on the limb and say Jauron could have never gotten this kind of production from Rinehart, Urbik, and Pears. These guys are receiving good coaching now. Pre-Gailey, unheralded offensive linemen just ended up getting their lunch ate in the trenches. Good coaching uncovers and develops diamonds in the rough.
  12. Yeah, Fletcher is a stud. Hopefully he didn't crunch Fitz too hard on that blitz, though. Want to seen an update that our QB is okay and has normal range of motion going into next week.
  13. i think both teams took advantage of our byes. (just b/c some other teams didn't improvem doesn't mean we didn't)
  14. lol, stop pretending you guys didn't already take a look at the line.
  15. I like Freddy but I'm getting pretty sick of his anti-doubter stance. Why can't we all just get along? Here's a doubt for you to prove wrong, boy. You will NEVER get paid more than $2 million from the Bills. We are going to underpay you throughout your prime years and then kick you to the curb and promote your backup after next year. Good luck getting paid when you're a 32 year old RB, boy. We only give extensions to guys like Fitzpatrick, Williams, and Kelsay. You can see how you don't fit in. I can't wait for you to take your anti-doubter BS elsewhere. Ralph 4 life!
  16. They would probably still take Newton and kick Fitz to the curb if they had a choice, quite frankly. They would do the same for Luck, too. But since those two guys aren't options, we extend Fitz to a fair contract. Nothing wrong with that.
  17. lol, I love this idea of a pass rush that gets consistent pressure but no sacks it's right there with Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. so quaint i mean, the Bills have 4 sacks. The Chiefs have 6 sacks. The rest of the NFL has at least 10 sacks. what the hell are we talking about here?
  18. Kellen Moore is almost certainly a better QB than Tyler Thigpen (and I don't mind Thigpen as a backup). Even if Fitz is the guy, it's always a good idea to incrementally improve your QB position when possible. Also wouldn't mind drafting a developmental prospect with more natural tools than Moore. Like that Baylor QB.
  19. There's something wrong with their prediction model. Five 12-win teams from the AFC, huh?
  20. Well, he's probably been struggling with it all season, making him a shell of his previous self. Probably one of the main reasons our defense hasn't been better. So the "silver lining" is that maybe there won't be any further dropoff if he goes on IR.
  21. His first draft sucked. He did hire Gailey though and his second draft looks like it has a chance to be quite good. I can give him a mulligan on his first draft. The first time you do anything, mistakes should be expected.
  22. I don't play Madden but if 90 is any more than average, the rating is wrong. But Freddy is a 99 in every other aspect of being a RB.
  23. definitely serious. just hoping it's not season-ending at this point. i don't expect him back anytime soon
  24. 2 minutes, 44 seconds for the rest of your lives!!!!!
  25. I wouldn't say everyone was wrong. Lots of Cam supporters on this board.
