Dumervil missed the first three games of the season and then didn't have a sack in his first four games played while rounding back into form. What did Miller do during those 7 games? Six sacks, including one in five straight games.

We're not going 5-11. Not even worth discussing. But even the difference between #10 and #20 isn't all that great. Once you get past the top 5 or so, there's a dropoff. Look, nobody supports rooting against the team as much as me. But the team already started down the "let's try to make the playoffs" path and I say we continue to root for that until we're mathematically eliminated.

The difference in draft pick between a 10-6 record and an 8-8 record isn't noteworthy It's not like we're going to get Andrew Luck either way

You guys are being too literal. Half the teams in the league are unhappy with their #1 wide receiver. There really are only about 15 #1's in the league. Stevie is not one of them. He's a very good #2.

Reading comprehension. However, since you are soooooo confident that the Bills won't reach 10-6, you should wager $1000 to win $10 that they won't get there. I mean, why pass up a free $10? In this economy? That'd just be foolish.

The Bills organization is an embarassment when you compare them to the Packers. I mean, back in 2006, the two teams were at the same level. The Packers actually drafted ahead of the Bills and we even beat them that year 24-10. But in the 5 years since then, Green Bay has continually selected and developed great players while we continue to just spin our wheels.

I agree it's unlikely but it's not impossible. Two of NYJ, Cincy, and Baltimore could end up 9-7. Also, with the Bills having two losses to NFC teams, they could conceivably win a tiebreaker with certain teams on AFC record (but not against Cincy or NYJ in the scenario we're discussing).

I'm looking forward to this game. It's a win-win situation. If we win, we win. If we lose, we put the final nail in the coffin for Miami's hopes of getting Luck. It's a rare occasion to be able to watch a game totally relaxed and be happy with either result.

Better to have zero #1 receivers and a quality #2 than zero of both. Sign Stevie.

I subscribe to the philosophy that when a group or team is failing, the responsibility falls on the shoulder of its leader. For an NFL team, you look at the QB. Fitz has got to play better. I don't think anyone thought that Fitz would ever raise his level of play to the Rodgers / Brady level (at least I hope nobody thought that), but can he please not be a big turd? Especially after signing that big contract. His stats since becoming the $60 million dollar man: 2 games, 35 of 62 (56%) completions, 168.5 yards / gm, 2 TDs, 5 INTs Stop playing like a turd, Fitz
