With such a weak schedule, 10-6 should be the bare minimum acceptable for this team and that would be equivalent to 8-8 in most other seasons due to the schedule. For the rebuilding to be considered "on schedule", the Bills would have to go 12-4 next season which is like 10-6 in most seasons. Finally, to be "ahead of schedule" and "doing great", the Bills would need to win the Super Bowl. Otherwise, you will know that Fitz sucks.

There really is no excuse not to make the playoffs next season. I would like to point out that 10-6 would've made the playoffs THIS season (and indeed, the Bengals made it at 9-7). 10-6 almost always gets the job done and there's no excuse not to get to 10 wins next season unless Fitzpatrick sucks.

I like him with our 2nd rounder. He just hasn't played enough (or well enough) to warrant being a top 15 draft pick. I doubt any team picks him that high. But I like him as a prospect and would enjoy having a QB on the roster who can throw harder than a middle-school girl

I agree with SJ Bills Fan and it's the reason why Fitz should be regarded as public enemy #1 in Buffalo right now. He sucks but he doesn't suck enough. You'd rather have Curtis Painter as your QB than Fitz because at least you'll get great player in the draft. Fitz is a 6-10 QB and that's the worst place to be in the NFL.

He's not an outright awful QB. But he's just the wrong fit for a rebuilding franchise. You want a young talented QB with upside, and noodle-armed Fitz does not provide that. And if you don't have a young talented QB, you want an awful QB so you can get in position to draft a young talented QB. Fitz unfortunately fails in that regard as well (not lately, though). Basically, all Fitz accomplishes for our franchise is to ruin our draft position. He cost us Cam Newton and now he's going to cost us Andrew Luck.

Keep. I really do think he's a good offensive playcaller, which is key in today's NFL. The problem is the past two years he's been polishing a turd in Fitz and it's now time to give Gailey a talented QB to work with. It really makes no sense for a rebuilding team like the Bills, playing under today's pass-friendly rules, and with a head coach like Gailey who has a supposed reputation for getting the most out of his QBs, to NOT have a young, talented QB on the roster to develop. It's just pure stupidity. The second half of this season should've gone to developing a young QB. Instead we waste half the season on Fitz playing out the string. The Bills are so stupid.

I disagree. The Bills need to be reminded of passing on Gronk as often as possible. If you see Nix in a grocery store, you should start yelling a "Gronk! Gronk! Gronk!" chant at him. Those who ignore past mistakes fail to improve.

I think it's the other way around. Fitz's inaccuracy has caused several injuries to Stevie and shaved probably 5-6 years off his lifespan. Cut Fitz

If we can trade for Luck -- realistically, we can't -- we have to do it. The entire NFL has scouted this guy for us. It's like getting all the answers to the exam beforehand. Our crappy front office and scouts don't even have to lift a finger to evaluate this guy.
