  1. Yeah I don't want a liar for head coach. After Marrone, not sure how I feel about slippery characters in that role. But seriously, EJ shouldn't be part of the discussion for interviewing head coaches. EJ is no longer the #16 overall pick. His worth on the trade market is probably a 7th-rounder. 6th-rounder at most (although I doubt it). We have to treat him like the sunk cost and likely bust that he is. That doesn't mean we shouldn't give EJ a chance to compete for a QB job on the roster, but we also shouldn't shackle potential coaches into needing to turn EJ into a competent starter. That will probably make head coaching candidates want to run away from the job.
  2. Yeah I like Grayson the best out of all the second-tier QB prospects. But he might suck, too, with his weird release. Hopefully he's more like a Rivers or Romo being able to cope with an unconventional release.
  3. I could see him turning down Buffalo if he has multiple offers. For example, he could choose the 49ers over us. But if the Bills are the only team to offer, I have a tough time believing he would pass given his age, the Bills' current ownership and already built defense (so he can concentrate on his specialty).
  4. what equation? you seem to be confused between the words equation and experiment. it's okay, both words start with 'e'
  5. I don't know about story of the draft. No one nationally really cares about the Bills. And I'm not that confident in journalists, national or local, doing their jobs well. Not saying I buy that it happened. Just saying that it could've. Marrone throwing a hissyfit is pretty consistent with everything else we've heard about him afterall.
  6. He's definitely the guy people will bandwagon behind if their team's pick is out of reach for Mariota and Winston. I'm pretty skeptical but I'd rather draft him (or another flawed prospect) than not. You miss every shot you don't take.
  7. lol. just as many sources out there talking about 18-year pause in warming.
  8. I really don't trust that Indy front office to ever get him the right talent. Still can't believe the Trent Richardson trade, for example. Hopefully Luck never signs a long-term contract with them. Would love this! We should've tanked and gone 0-16 for him when we had a chance.
  9. Pretty stupid strategy to go after the punt when you're guaranteed great field position for your great offense.
  10. as horrible as the play has been, i am enjoying the horrible punter vs horrible returner battle.
  11. Seahawks gonna take a dump on either of these teams. Horrible football teams.
  12. Oh, I'm just talking about Shanahan's stock. The poster I was quoting was suggesting he's too big for Buffalo, which seems absurd. Regardless of how good you think he'd be here (I think he'd suck), there's no way if he's still interested in coaching that he would reject an offer from the Bills. In 1998, he was too big for Buffalo. Not now.
  13. This is 2015, not 1998. Shanahan would crawl to Buffalo to be the Bills coach. He's clearly in Re-tread Land as far as NFL desirability goes.
  14. Well he's definitely not retiring there. That's not how Belichick operates. But could he play a couple more seasons in New England if his alleged great fitness level extends his career? Maybe. But Brady supposedly wants to play into his 40s. Can't that happening in New England.
  15. Marrone knows that if Payton comes to Buffalo, it will be to replace Marrone.
  16. actually, yes http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2738653/Stunning-satellite-images-summer-ice-cap-thicker-covers-1-7million-square-kilometres-MORE-2-years-ago-despite-Al-Gore-s-prediction-ICE-FREE-now.html

  18. You are stupid. If the most popular movie theater in a city is an IMAX theater, it may be because it offers something different from all the other movie theaters.
  19. Offensive coordinators matter, but not to the extent that is being endorsed in this thread. Otherwise you'd hear about coordinators making $10 mill/year. Bridgewater is a talented natural passer. EJ is an athlete trying to learn how to become a QB. If Bridgewater turns out to be better, that difference explains 99% of it.
  20. The possibility people are ignoring is that a couple weeks sitting might do EJ some good, loosen up his nerves and clear his cobwebs a bit. In the scenario where Orton stinks for two or three games and EJ has to be re-inserted as a starter, there would be much less pressure on EJ, and maybe he performs better. Now I'm not an EJ fan. I've thought he was a bust since last year. But if there's any chance for him to turn into a decent QB, it was not going to be starting the next game. He's just a complete wreck right now and has to get his head straight.
  21. Yeah that home playoff game after 14 years of zip would really be a drag
  22. Whaley should be graded on the full spectrum of his decisions, with missing on EJ being a major negative mark... that will look worse if Manziel and Bridgewater appear to be stars by the end of this season.
  23. Obama hates America. He has "fundamentally transformed" America and aims to continue doing so. The first time his wife was proud to be "American" was when Obama was elected. Obama's policies hurt America both domestically and abroad. He indeed is Anti-American.
