  1. Edwards can't stop the run... I'm looking for Tim Anderson to plug that hole rather than Edwards, who is an effective pass rusher.
  2. a great kicker is surprisingly hard to find... you would think in a world of 6 billion people, you'd be able to find 32 that can nail field goals consistently... we needed to get lucky to get Nugent... we didn't... let's replace Lindell next offseason... we weren't going to win the Super Bowl this year anyway
  3. This was just a great pick by the Bills... it's funny, we got our best player from this draft in the 6th round.
  4. Eric King is the first pick that I've liked this draft... if there was a mistake, it was in rounds 2, 3, or 4
  5. I like this pick. Antoine Winfield lite (very lite) with ball skills
  6. Calico can play on the outside... if we trade for him, he's Moulds' eventual repalcement
  7. Are you insane? He QB'd the team to a Super Bowl title his second year.
  8. We've discussed this before, I know, but I really want to get my shots in on Donahoe's drafting, so if the rule is to wait 3 years, then let's revisit 2002. Mike Williams - 4th overall... production has been less than expected Josh Reed - 2nd round... bust Ryan Denney - 2nd round... much less than what was expected Coy Wire - 3rd round... worthless aside from special teams... much less than what was expected Justin Bannan - 5th round... met expectations... if he becomes a good guard, could be a great pick Kevin Thomas - 6th round... comfortably surpassed expectations 7th rounders - Mike Pucillo, Rodney Wright, Jarrett Ferguson, Dom Stevenson... except for Stevenson, all garbage as expected for 7th rounders Overall Grade: D+ Tom Donahoe = ass clown, at least wrt 2002 draft
  9. salary cap violation, iirc
  10. I'm sure if you saw the Bills draft board, your question would be answered. Not saying they're right, just that obviously they had a different opinion than the pre-draft consensus.
  11. Can't say I'm too thrilled to hear Badol's low opinion of Roscoe. When I heard we drafted a Cane, I was hoping to see a positive review from Badol since he knows that team so well.
  12. Travis was a retard for stating that he would never play for the Bills again, which probably hurt Buffalo's leverage somewhat in trade talks. If he really wanted to leave town, he should've just kept quiet.
  13. He sounds exactly like what a black guy named Roscoe would sound like... it's charming, really (seriously, I like this kid)
  14. One positive about Roscoe is that there's no way he can be a completely worthless bust.... at the very least, he'll be a good punt returner.
  15. Bleh... Roscoe's a nice prospect and all but he has the feel of a 4th rounder to me. Like most of you, I was hoping to get an LT prospect. Oh well. Let's see how it pans out.
  16. this is why you shouldn't follow the draft too closely... you'll likely end up disappointed... follow this advice next season
  17. Clements is PRO BOWL Cornerback, people... whoever we draft at #9 overall has a 50/50 chance of being a bust... such is the case with high draft picks if you look at draft history... even if he weren't a bust, it'd take a few years to develop him into a great player... We've already gone through the growing pains with Clements, and now he's entering his prime, ready to deliver at least three to four more great seasons... and we're going to f'ing give him away for a draft pick??????? Don't be such pussies. "oh no, we're going to lose him in free agency, let's panic and destroy our secondary by giving him away for unproven players in a crap draft".... as long as there's a franchise tag, we hold the cards guys... don't panic
  18. Usually I don't mind you Boston fans too much, but you're just incredibly wrong here, so wrong you should be shot. The reason this trade won't happen is because the Bills would never accept JUST the #9 overall pick in a weak draft for a Pro Bowl cornerback.
  19. Nice chip on the 16th, Tiger... it's over
  20. Tiger is choking right now and DiMarco is on fire
  21. I agree with the poster "its only real shh"... all I needed to know about this guy was that he's white. No thanks. I'm already sick of our high motor defensive ends.
  22. I don't understand all this talk from the announcers about how Tiger is "silencing his critics." His critics never said, "Tiger is never going to win a major again" (not that Tiger has this tournament won right now -- he still has work left to do). His critics are saying, "Tiger blew his chance to be better than Jack Nicklaus by firing his swing coach and becoming too much of a family man." These critics won't go away until he starts winning majors consistently again and gets back on track for #19. Whatever, Tiger shouldn't even give a crap about his critics. His wife is hot and her poontang probably tastes like pudding despite him having no personality.
  23. don't give up hope on Nate... part of the reason we're being frugal this offseason is to try to sign him
  24. Exactly... if he didn't have the talent, why would Denver, the o-line gurus that they are, have ever put him there in the first place? They saw SOMETHING in Teague.
